Shortly after purchasing the Renegade, I was having severe buyer's remorse and missing my Santa Fe. I tried returning the Renegade to the dealer and was inquiring where my Santa Fe went, but they were no help because they suck. I even went down to the dealer where I purchased my Santa Fe, but they couldn't help me either. I googled the VIN of my Santa Fe for several weeks and finally got a hit on August 17: the Santa Fe sold at auction and was at Performance Motor Cars in Wappingers Falls, 100 miles from my house! I immediately called up and asked if the Santa Fe was available. I reached Caleb Rose and he was nothing short of a gentleman and told me the Santa Fe was available and I told him my story and he was impressed. I told him I wanted to buy the car back. We set everything up and I purchased the car back today, August 25! Despite my unique situation, there are several cars on the lot to choose from and all different types of cars and different makes. It is definitely worth a look for anyone looking for a gently used car and I was very impressed. To say I am over the moon to have my car back is an understatement. The whole staff at Performance Motor Cars knew my story and loved it. The dealership was very professional and so helpful throughout the entire transaction. After I run my Santa Fe into the ground, there's a good chance I'll make another 100 mile trip up to Performance Motor Cars due to the great service I received. Plus, who doesn't love a good road trip with a car you just purchased? THANK YOU PERFORMANCE!!!

    UPDATE FOR SERVICE FOR JUNE/13,3025: What can I say? This is…read moredefinitely my go to location for service to my vehicle. Yes. I purchased a vehicle certified used in 2016 and have done all my servicing, including oil changes with Poughkeepsie Nissan ever since. In full disclosure, I am not a fan of the sales organization based on my purchase back in 2016. That may have changed so I cannot speak to that. This review is regarding the service team Led by Danny Tubbs. Maria is a beacon of light even when she has to deliver unfortunate and sometimes expensive news. She is no Grim Reaper - just doing her job to keep the vehicle safe. And I do trust them. This time around was for basic maintenance - oil change, and New York State inspection. I asked them to take a look at the air filter to see if that needed changing which would've added to my costs. They did so and told me that my air filter was perfectly fine, particularly since I'm not a smoker, I believe. I did need a rather expensive repair to the suspension which required ordering parts and leaving the vehicle overnight. I wasn't in need of it that day so I didn't ask for a loaner which they may have offered. They automatically offered me a ride home and a ride back when the vehicle was finished. This service is very helpful and the two drivers are extremely professional and pleasant. They don't expect it, but it's nice to tip the drivers whatever you can. I'm sure is helpful. This may be a big shop with corporate name put in this case, They never forget my name or my face even when I put on a few pounds. So it feels like an old school neighborhood repair shop to me. The only negative I can say is that I wish they would turn off right wing media. It's upsetting to me. I don't think that's the Service Department decision but rather the Dealership management. So Management, please change the channel for us.

Brittany was there, she was ready to show me others but I insisted I wanted that car. Instead of her pushing me to stay and look, she saw how badly I wanted to buy a vehicle within my price budget So instead of the classic car sales tricks, she said "no problem. I will call you when we get another like it in, we get em all the time". This dealership, from the minute I walked in, was honest, hardworking, and Brittany didn't stop until she knew I was 10000% happy with my decision. I ended up hating that car that I thought I had wanted, and didn't even go with Nissan! With the help of Brittany and her team, she was able to find the perfect deal for me, right at my budget, all in 102 degree weather!!! Highly recommend to any and all car buyers looking for straight shooters and good deals you really can't beat. She wasn't lying, they price their cars the cheapest than any other dealer in 100 mi radius (trust me, I went to the others and saw it for myself. 12,999 sticker price = 21,900 at Mitsubishi down the road.- UNREAL) HIGHLY RECOMMEND.     Ignoring symptoms and not checking thoroughly in March caused big problem in July!!!!…read moreI was charged close to 200 dollars for a "diagnostic" conducted by mechanics (who make close to 200 bucks an hr for labor) and they found nothing wrong with my car in March but in 4 mos later my car becomes totally disabled due to the same complaints I made in March. The service manager Mark told me in March that he put my car with his "best mechanic" but despite this they could not explain the issues I was reporting so they took the 200 for the diagnostic, and proceeded to write me a 3000 + estimate that was all for acua services I would need for the year but nothing addressing the actual problem the car was actively happening and I had reported, several times. Because the problem was not identified and the symptoms happened intermittently, I continued to drive the car and complain until in July my cars symptoms became significantly worse and ultimately my car stopped working. I towed the car to Acura and this time I was told that it was my alternator and that apparently the spool valve assembly was leaking oil into the alternator " ( it would be 2400 to fix) for a long period of time" (now Mike reports this to me). My issue with that is if it's been leaking so heavily in July why wasn't it seen in March!? He said it had to be occurring a long while- I think I know what happened they took a Quick Look in March took my 200 bucks and made a wrong report because they just didn't look!!! Never going to them again! I then towed (at my expense) to a different garage and paid the mechanic considerably less.
