Went back for some awesome lunch with daughter and grand daughter (the boys were out at the ranch). Sooooooo good, as always. Two pasta fresh big spaghetti bowls and big meatballs. One Roma style pizza marinara. And shared a taramasu dessert. SOOOOOO GOOD, all of it. So, so good. Service = perfect. Ambiance = lovely. Love coming here.

The food is excellent. I order to go a bit but dined in for first time. We're still pleasantly surprised on the atmosphere and how open and beautiful it is. It's fun and lively. Bar seats available if you want to walk in and not wait! Was greeted by a beautiful and professional hostess, Bridgette. Our server Tim kept our drinks full and great service. The Bolognese was fantastic, the pizza is incredible! Our friend has a birthday and they brought her the most fun dessert.

Ok we had a late start to running our errands and decided it was important to eat before grocery shopping. It was a great call to go to Acquario Pizza Bar. The ambiance is fun and vibrant you see the staff working overtime to keep everyone happy and served with good food and drinks. Our server Brady was knowledgeable of the menu and provided service with a smile. The Two yoots Old Fashioned compliment my pizza and the Sangria. Overall and amazing experience as we celebrate our 3 year anniversary.

It's all about the pizza crust with me and this pizza crust is AMAZING . I normally try (and succeed!) to take photos of the food for a review BEFORE we eat (because after all - who wants to see a half eaten dish!) BUT I did not get a chance this time as the pizza was put down in front of us and my kids (and husband!!!) dove right in (see pic for evidence!). I'm surprised I managed to get a slice for myself ! lol. Laughter aside - the service is stellar and this pizza place is the real deal and we will definitely be visiting again to try some of the other pizza flavors. We were tempted by the pasta too - so we will definitely be trying that too next time!

I was quite surprised when I walked in and this was a full sit down restaurant! The service was great and so was the food! My husband and I split a pizza and added a Cesar salad which was quite large! It is a little loud and echos inside but I feel so many restaurants are like that now! Definitely would go back

First time here. We've been to the full Italian restaurant a few miles away but this was our first time to Acquario. We all ordered pizzas. My son and I ordered the Roma crust pizza which is the thin and crispy and my husband ordered the Neapolitan crust. We all agreed that the Roma crust is the way to go! All the pizzas were great in flavor. Love that they aren't all sauce. We also had the garlic bread but didn't need it. The pizza is plenty that you could share one if you didn't want a heavy meal. The waiter was friendly and offered recommendations as per our questions. The place is beautifully done. And this could definitely be a date night despite being in a shopping strip. We will def come back.

First, I think rating pizza is one of the hardest things to do because there are so many different elements to pizza, and it really depends on what you personally love about it. So let's get started. We went to Acquario on a Friday for lunch. It was not very busy at first, but about 10 minutes later the place was pretty much packed. The person greeting us was very nice and promptly seated us. It was VERY clean, and the ambiance was very chill. They have a very nice bar area where you can sit, enjoy a glass of wine, and watch the game while you eat pizza. You can see the entirety of the kitchen from the dining room, which is always cool. Even though it was packed, it was not noisy at all, which made it feel more intimate. Service was good. We had several people come to our table to make sure we had everything we needed and to refill our water. I like the idea of having everyone aware of all guests. I think this allows guests to get taken care of quickly. However, it can be tough because you are then rated by your least capable person. There were none of those today, which again showcases the quality of the staff. The food. We ordered three pizzas and Bruschettone for an appetizer. The Bruschettone was SO good. Very fresh, and the bread was absolutely amazing. You can tell the ingredients are all fresh. The pizzas were good, and this is where it gets tough. I liked the taste of them, and the crust was also very fresh and fluffy. However, with a thin crust pizza, I would like more crisp on the bottom. The pizza was not cut all the way through, which made it tough to pull off a piece. This was a pizza where, if you picked up a slice, all the toppings would fall off, so you are basically forced to eat it with a fork and knife, at least at first. I also felt the outside edge of the crust was a bit too thick. That is not to say it was bad, because it was very soft, but I think it takes away from the overall balance of the pizza and the toppings. The pizzas also took a while to come out. I know it was busy, so that could have played a part, but there was about a 15-minute wait before they arrived. At the end of the day, the three pizzas and the appetizer came to $74, which, in my opinion, is a bit high. I would like to try their pasta to see how it is. It's not to say that I wouldn't come back, because the food did taste VERY good. Overall, it was a good experience and good food, I would recommend giving them a try!

First time at Acquario, everything was good. The sauce seemed to be the same for all dishes. The bread pudding was not warm it was cold it was still good but expecting it to be warm with the cold ice cream. The pizza was really good, I forgot to capture the pizza pic. Will def come back for the pizza! The waiter was super nice and polite the restaurant was very clean too.

Really enjoyed my anchovy and capers pizza. Fresh ingredients, and a crispy crust. The rigatoni pasta was okay, but nothing super special. Decent italian place!

Finally got a chance to stop by for a Saturday night dinner. No reservations, only walk in. There was a substantive wait with people milling about outside. Because we were only two people we waited less than 15 min at around 630pm. Not bad. The decor is super cute, casual, and comfortable. Love the bar and open concept. Lighting is bright and decor is uplifting. Service was excellent from the hostess, to all the servers and the owners who were there. We started out with their meal balls, then arugula salad and two pizzas - the margarita and the verdure (I wasn't crazy about the huge chunks of zucchini but that's a matter of preference). Everything was delicious - loved how the pizzas are uniquely fired with chewy puffy crust and thin. So many things we wanted to try. This will become a regular place for us for sure!

Been to the original Acquario for many Dinners. This sister restaurant's food is as delicious as original restaurant! Came here for lunch with the family and had a gluten free diavola, regular crust 4 cheese, and bolognese. Typically I'm not a fan for gluten free pizza crust, but this one was excellent. Great casual place with excellent food!

This new pizza and pasta bar just opened this week. The pizza is the best I have had, possibly ever, anywhere. I love that they use flour imported from Italy for their pasta and pizza dough. I can eat them both with no gluten issues. And it's not because that flour is without gluten, it's because they don't use pesticides in Italy. (I am only borderline Celiac.) The bar side of the restaurant is a little more upscale than the dining room side. Both are casual though. Our server did not know her menu at all, (again, brand new place) but since we had eaten at their Italian seafood restaurant the night before, we knew what the spaghetti pasta would look like. Also, heads up, the Napule salad and the Caprese appetizer are basically identical. Don't order both like we did. It was odd that we weren't greeted by a manager since they are brand new and he was mostly just sitting on the bar side of the restaurant. No big deal; just an observation.

Lasagna Tradizionale

We came for the soft opening and everything was outstanding! I have to say the Lasagna was easily some of the best I've ever had. The Diablo Pizza had just the right amount of everything to make it a fantastic pizza. Our sever was prompt and polite and genuinely a very friendly guy. The inside has been overhauled and it would remind you of being in an Italian cafe (without being packed in). We will certainly be back here and still enjoy the OG Acquario too!

I don't eat sushi or a lot of the menu items, but the Salmon I had was the best that I have ever had. Of course, my wife had the Lobster, probably the most expensive item on the menu. Others had the Steak and most had things that I don't even know what was in it... even after reading the menu. My point is the food was highly enjoyed by everyone, especially those who normally eat this type of cuisine. The drinks are amazing and what a variety!!! Japanese whisky and a huge wine list. PLUS, amazing sake and Japanese beer. P.s. They also have domestic and NA beer which was great since my wife doesn't drink. The service was beyond reproach. Super attentive and very informative. I have no point of reference about cost to compare too other than to say our drinks (many many drinks) was far more than the food. It was expensive, but for 8 of us, that was to be expected. The restaurant was larger than it looks, very comfortable, relaxing, and accommodating. Highly Recommended even if this isn't your normal cuisine.

The citrus of the ponzu balanced the jalapeño perfectly. I'd definitely order that roll again next time. The poke bowls are a good size but definitely on the pricey side for sushi. Overall the service was excellent. There was a mixup with our food where we got salmon instead of Tuna for our poke bowl. They quickly amended the mistake and brought us a new bowl. The atmosphere is modern and upscale making it a perfect choice for a date night. They do have some kid friendly options on the menu and a few kids were dining there on Friday night.

Great last-minute dinner at the bar…read more My wife and I decided to dine here last minute and arrived around 7pm without a reservation. The host told us the wait would be about an hour, or we could wait for open seats at the bar, and even checked bar availability for us. Within 5-10 minutes a group left and we were seated right away. Part of the bar is table height while the rest is standard bar height, which made the experience feel intimate while still being part of the energy of the room. Our bartender was very friendly. For antipasti, we ordered the eggplant parmigiano and the four-meatball sampler with bolognese. The eggplant is best described as an eggplant treated like a blooming onion: a whole eggplant cut into about 10 pieces, left attached at the stem, and deep fried. The crust was crunchy and the inside soft. It came with marinara and aioli, both nice additions, but it was great on its own. All four meatballs were fantastic. My wife ordered the Tonnarelli alla Nerano. It was good when it arrived, but once it cooled it became plain and clumpy, almost like mac and cheese. That was the only downside. The bartender noticed her plate was mostly full and asked if we wanted it boxed and whether everything was okay. We told him we were just full and thanked him for checking on us. We left full and well taken care of. Overall, a great experience, and we'll be back.

I recommend ordering the garlic bread- I liked their version with garlic butter poured over the top. The charcuterie board was pretty but nothing stood out as particularly different- but it was ok. The costs are on the higher end for the area. Verdict: I would return again for a work luncheon.
