Emily's Garage is one of the Seattle city-approved vehicle safety inspection mechanics.  They offer…read moreASE-certified TNC inspections, pre-buyer inspections, diagnostic services, and general car inspections.  They have three locations - Everett, Tacoma, and Burien. For the vehicle safety inspection, I didn't have to make an appointment.  It was fine to do a walk-in. When I visited Emily's Garage, there was a customer who was pretty upset with the repairs and the cost.  I was able to hear what the customer had to go through but I would not comment on that as I have limited information. From my experience of getting my vehicle inspected, I was very surprised at how quickly they were able to complete the vehicle inspection.  It was done in less than 2 minutes, and I paid over $50 for that service.   For comparison, when I had my vehicle inspected at Les Schwab Tire Centers in Portland, they spent over 20 minutes to thoroughly inspect the vehicle and the cost for the inspection was only $20.   Will I re-visit Emily's Garage for the vehicle inspection?  Probably not but if the state requires me to get the vehicle inspection done, I will probably have no choice as there are not that many shops that offer the ASE-certified inspection.

Head-gaskets are known to combust or leak due to the high pressure due to the Turbo drive causing higher pressure to flow through the cylinder causing coolant to seap through the lining that was designed to support the flow coolant around and through with the living in between each cylinder was meant ti improve performance. Unfortunately this has caused many dissatisfied Honda Accords owners as the issue could occur at any mileage (30k, 79k, 110k, etc.) Farshad replaced my engine and always picks up my calls (or calls me back when time permits). They did a terrible job on my car and when I called them out on that they became very rude and argumentative and blamed everything on the fact that they installed a used part (a brand new part was never offered to us) The owner and employees are very sketchy (now I understand why they prefer to get paid in cash.) Every single time that you call or walk in asking for Mohammad (shop owner) he's unavailable. During my last visit and while trying to get my car fixed after the poor job they did I was so frustrated that I openly expressed my dissatisfaction in front of other customers, the front desk employee got upset because of this and refused to take the keys and told me to take my car home and expect a call from Mohammad the shop owner.
