The two connecting dining rooms are amazing and cozy, with a big bar counter at the back, wine racks and a huge assortment of whimsical objects or artwork around the place. Upstairs there's a terrace where you can fully enjoy their tapas menu and maybe even go for a cocktail. There's a set dishes menu, a smaller tapas menu and also the specials of the day, written on a big blackboard - that our hostess kindly perched on a chair in front of our table, improptu style. In both fixed menus there are many vegetarian and/or gluten free options. The wine list was interesting enough, though not perfect. I managed to find a beautiful spanish Verdejo there, so that must count for something. We were served delicious food and the only thing I can point is that my vegetarian stuffed zucchini had a bit too much cheese, but other than that everything was good and their special of the day, salmon, was cooked perfectly. Unfortunately we were both too full to try the desserts, but at least we got to to wrap our lunch up with a nice espresso.

We took a seat outside, under the stairs which was completely covered. Our cheeseboard was enjoyed with the candlelight ambiance. I couldn't stop looking around and smiling. I will say while service was nice, it was slow and we actually didn't get exactly what we ordered. There was only one person in the whole restaurant working. I believe he was taking orders and preparing them. The menu is very selective and doesn't offer alot of options. It is my recommendation to stop by for a glass of wine and cheese plate before dinner at another location. This place is gorgeous.

Such an amazing little gem in Limerick. While visiting the city, a friend and I were in the mood…read morefor a light dinner and wine, this restaurant made that possible and went above and beyond our expectations. The ambiance alone is worth the visit. The restaurant itself is below street level so eating outdoors in their outdoor seating area is like sitting in a romantic nook - candles galore, gorgeous twinkle lighting upon entry, a small fire place/woodstove(?), and tables & chairs that somehow felt so cozy. I can't say much for indoors because I only ventured in for the restrooms but it seems warm & cozy and on a colder night, a better place to dine. I will say however, based on the set up, unless I missed something, this location is not handicap accessible. Aside from the ambiance itself, the options were plentiful for boards and wine. Our host/server was so helpful and spoke to us about the daily cheese options and what kind of make up we'd like since only one of us eats meat. The board that was brought out was perfection. In addition to a delicious selection of cheeses, we ordered green olives and not just one order of garlic flatbread but two bc it was so tasty with the cheeses. I think I could eat the onion marmalade by the spoonful. The service, quality of food & wine, and ambiance made this restaurant a memorable night and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting.
