Thinking that nothing could exceed the chowder from our home in the state of Washington, we were speechless. The fish chowder was easily the best we have ever eaten. The bread was a perfect companion to the chowder and the fresh butter could not be surpassed. There appeared to be only three front-of-the-house staff in total taking care of a large dining room, one of which seemed to be inexperienced, and another needing to be the receptionist and the cashier. They seemed to be constantly overwhelmed. When the tables began to fill ,service time became protracted, and attentiveness dropped markedly. I even had to walk up to the front to pay my bill. Food and drink along this place is worth 4 stars or above, but considering service, I can only give 3 stars.
