Quaint restaurant right across from castle and lake. Slate placemats are a wonderful touch along with ceiling lights uniquely made hanging from a door or piece of wood. There is art work and a pic of the old village. It's just a warm, inviting place.
They have fair trade coffee and slate placemats. The breakfast was good. I had vegetarian breakfast which included eggs, toast, beans, tomatoes and was perfect. A friend had a sausage sandwich on English Muffin but disliked the sausages because they are soft. That seems to be indicative of sausage in Ireland. They are different in the states. There was a light salad and that was good.
Pretty nice place in a lovely town and reasonably priced. read more
