My brother-on-law moved 3 trailers full of stuff, going back and forth from Hugo to Blaine before they even got to my house the first time, we all left at the same time. I think they were intentionally slow so they could charge us 4x's the amount quoted to me for an entire day (which is only 4 hours for them). They also broke multiple items, even with their "insurance" I was not reimbursed for anything. I also had to have them correct the contract 5 times before they actually got it correct. This company is horrible, if I could give them negative stars I would. This company is so crooked they are a circle! Response: your crew did not take an unpaid lunch break, it was included in the time they added to my bill at the end. They also very much pressure me to tip them because, as they put it, "This company does not pay us very well." Not only was I quoted roughly $1500, and it ended up costing me almost $5K for the service, I ended up tipping them because they know where I live and I didn't want anything to happen to my wife, and your crew took more breaks than they actually worked. Regardless of what you say, your company is crooked, incompetent, and needs to be put out of business. My next report is to the BBB!

But this place is GREAT! Very clean, fairly new, temperature-controlled, safe & secure, two large entrances & several large & well-lit walkways making it easy to access each unit (there's even a place to drive your car inside, which is a nice feature in bad or cold weather), dry & weather-proof (no worrying about the floors getting wet from slush or snow, even with the drive-up area), reasonably priced, very nice staff. Kevin is very helpful. Also, I'm a MAJOR bug-aphobe, and finding a storage place that didn't have creepy crawlies was important to me (especially when we were planning to store a couch and several boxes of clothes that didn't have the best lids). In the 3 months we've used Scott Co Mini Storage, we've only seen one dead bug, and I can't even be sure we didn't bring it with us on the U-haul. Highly recommend this place for your storage needs!

When I was moving things from the truck to the storage room there were several employees removing snow and ice. The person who checked me in was great. She took time to explain the facility and then walked to the storage room to make sure my access code worked and the room was acceptable to me. Prices keep going up, yet they can't be bothered to maintain the facility. Really read the…read morecontract before you lease a unit. They DO NOT care about you or your items. Their "value coverage" that they force on you? It's not insurance, it's an indemnity waiver you pay for. They won't even cover damage from their own negligence per the agreement! I had damage to my items in storage, tried to contact the facility for a week before I removed the irreplaceable items to try and have them repaired. After involving the storagemart call center, I was only given a claims form that stated items must be reported damaged before being removed (which was not mentioned anywhere in the signed agreement), and a promise that someone would call me. When I finally made contact with someone calling themselves the interim manager, he took one look in the unit, to assess the damage to my remaining items I assumed. Seems they only wanted proof that the ceiling didnt have a hole causing the damage, as it appears that is the only thing they will cover. Now it's just shrugs and ignored emails. I have had this unit for years, never had any issues when Bruce owned it. As soon as storagemart took over, it has turned into a dump. No plowing, no repairs to facility, "climate controlled" units are a petri dish, nobody answers the phone, nobody cares. But hey, it's just irreplaceable baby pictures, right?
