    Aconcagua sandwich

We ate at Aconcagua today because it had a 4.9 Yelp rating, and it's well-deserved! To start, everyone who worked there was so nice. The service was great. The chicken empanada was delicious but the beef was my favorite. We also split the Aconcagua sandwich and while the bread was a lil too crispy for me, it was still sooo good. Finally, we got a piece of white cake with cream in the center and it's the best cake I've had in years. We also got a mini tres leches and I highly recommend it.

I visited there for lunch with my colleague. He looked it up on Yelp and was impressed by the great reviews and wanted to try their Empanadas which they are known for. It is truly an authentic Argentine establishment. They even have the soccer games from Argentina on their TV's. You order at the counter and their staff will bring your food to your table. The restaurant itself can easily seat over 50 people and when we went, there was only one other family having lunch. I ordered a ham & cheese as well as a spinach empanada. It was delicious and very filling. They use a pizza dough for making the empanadas so the texture of the dough is a bit different than other empanadas. It was very tasty. My colleague ordered 3 and regretted having too much. They are quite satisfying. The restaurant also makes other items such as pizza and sandwiches. I also noticed they were stockpiling an Argentinian grapefruit soda they need to bring in by the pallet load. They claim that's the only way to meet the minimum order. Stop by for authentic grapefruit soda.

    1. The dining table is incredibly clean and quiet most of the time. It seems most people order to go, and I may see a few people dining in. 2. The bathroom is very clean. No issue at all. 3. The customer service is always bright and happy. They are helpful and kind. I never have issue. 4. The food is phenomenal. The empandas are the best. The price is reasonable. I order the pizza and I was impressed. I wasn't expecting much from the pizza at first, but it blew my mind. 5. The parking is always plentiful. It's impossible to have a problem. 6. There is a mini shop where you can buy some ethnic ingredients. I highly recommend this amazing charm.

This place is amazing. They've recently added in door seating for the winter and it looks great. My go to is the breakfast egg croissantwich, they recommended I try it with sausage this time and , WOW, it might even be better than the last one I tried. If that's possible. And their pastries are fantastic. If you haven't already tried them you really need to. So good! The family who owns and operates this place are so friendly and willing to help and answer any questions.

BEST CROISSANT I'VE EVER HAD!! Cute little place in an unexpected space. The food was super amazing and authentic. They had tons of seats to sit down and work. All the people were super nice! It's good to support an authentic venue!

Solid spot for some amazing food! Good selection of sandwiches here made with fresh, homemade ingredients. The focaccia was to absolutely die for. Large selection of empanadas, I tried the chicken and was very pleased. The crust was perfect and the meat and veggies inside were flavorful, I look forward to ordering them again. There's also a lot of sweets from the bakery. All looked delicious but I just didn't have room to pack one in on this visit. For sure on the next stop.

So excited that I ran across Aconcagua!! It's for sure a new favorite! They have authentic Argentine pastries, sandwiches, empanadas, and even a mini store of other items! Everything was delicious! I ordered the Media Luna and loved it! The croissant was perfectly flaky and I loved everything that they put on it. I also tried a bite of the Aconcagua sandwich and it was delicious too! You can't go wrong with proicuitto and Swiss cheese! My favorite thing that I ordered though, was the empanadas!! They are soo yummy! I tried both the beef and chicken and kept going back for more and more! The chicken is probably my favorite. So much flavor! Highly recommend! They also have lots of pastries to choose from, and they are delicious! They bake everything fresh daily and they can sometimes sell out on busy days! I can't wait to go back and try more of them. On top of the great food, the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating! I felt happy just being there! The prices are also great (my croissant sandwich was under $5). I will be back very soon for more chicken empanadas and pastries!!

Really good food. I ordered the ham and cheese and lemon and beef empanadas and a cafe latte all very tasty. Great atmosphere and really good service!

Heard about this on Yelp and I bookmarked this place for the next time we were going to Hill AFB. It's hidden in the corner of a strip mall. A tiny place but behind those doors holds some amazing pastries and yummy empanadas at such an affordable price. Obviously, a lot of people know about this place because when we got there on a Friday around 12pm their selection in the pasties was getting sparse. We got 6 pastries for $9. Which was an amazing price given how fresh and mouthwatering these were. I pretty much got one of whatever they had left. We also bought 2 empanadas to sample; one beef and one chicken. The empanadas were still warm and crispy -- because of how they keel them under a warmer. But not Soggy! we liked the beef better but both were good. One thing I wasn't used to was there was no sauce offered with the empanadas-- unlike other places I've had empanadas at. Not a big deal but just not used to that. WE DEFINITELY HAVE THIS MARKED FOR ANYTIME WE ARE IN THE AREA!

We did peep out some breakfast joints around the area the night before and Penny Ann's Cafe popped up. The reviews were good so we decided to head over after we grabbed gas. This joint is conviently next to Costco so we didn't have to venture far too find it. Walking in, we were instantly greeted by the hostess. We were sat at a booth by the breakfast bar. Yohe ( I know his name started with a Y) greeted us. There was a gentleman named Cesar that was shadowing him for training. They both grabbed our drink order while my mom and I were checking out the menu. I did creep out the menu the night before. You can not not be curious over these famous "heavenly hot cakes". When you add the word heavenly to hot cakes, you know they are going to be hella good! So for breakfast, I got the Big breakfast which comes with a little bit of everything. My mom got French toast that came with a side of eggs and bacon. My plate was no joke! I got a good helping of potatoes smothered in country gravy, a chunky sausage link, bacon, ham, eggs and 2 fluffy pancakes. I'm so happy I didn't get the toast. I was offered to have my toast turned into French toast and as much as I wanted to say yes, I declined. I had enough carb options with my huge stack of pancakes and breakfast potatoes. I knew the French toast would put me over the edge. My potatoes were perfectly cooked! Crispy on the outside and fluffy in the middle. The country gravy on top of my potatoes was savory and thick. I normally don't like sausage gravy but this one was really good! My eggs were fried hard, just the way I like them. My bacon was crispy. I do like my sausage links to be overcooked and I forgot to tell my server about having it overcooked. The sausage was hearty and big! It just needed a little more browning for my liking. I did have a couple bites of my ham, I was just super full to finish it. Now, the pancakes were topped tier! They were fluffy! Airy! Topped with a hefty chunk of butter. The pancake syrup was warm. The combination of everything listed above made eat bite of pancake magical. I ate half of my stack and had to tap out. I really could have finished that whole plate of pancakes but I know my stomach would be so upset with me on my 5 hour trip home. What I appreciate most about this joint is how clean it is! I love that the syrup containers, salt and pepper shakers, hot sauce, ketchup and creamers are all cleaned and put in the back after each table is done. It's amazing how many condiment containers are so dirty but not here. I feel safe using thier condiments here. Especially with my new kidney and having to be extra precautious with communal things, that was one thing I didn't have to worry about today. The service is great! The pancakes are legit good. The venue is clean and nicely ran. My meal was fantastic! I look forward to bringing my husband here in April so he can try the Heavenly hot cakes. He loves pancakes and I know he will love these ones. And I will most definitely have to have my hot cakes Dubai chocolate style! Truly a must try. See you in April!
