Without my asking her, Ember volunteered to DELIVER the prescription to my front door on her way home from work on Christmas Eve!!! She got permission form the store manager, and not only delivered the life-saving medication, (I'm immunocompromised,) but also coordinated the delivery of a few other groceries I needed to get me through the holiday with Covid. I literally cried with gratitude. Ember is the perfect picture of the ideal employee- and not just employee, but human being. There was 1 staff member that was not a regular also and both women were just awful to me. My doctor was forced to call the pharmacist 2 times to get my prescription set and admittedly my doctor was upset because she knows me and I was upset. how it ended? the TEMPORARY Pharmacist told my husband who went to pick it up that she "didn't like the way my doctor talked to her", so she refused to fill my prescription. AND I NEEDED IT. I found a local pharmacy open til' 8:00pm, my doctor made a 3rd phone call for me to the new pharmacy and thankfully I got my medication there at 7:55pm. AGAIN - my doctor referred to the pharmacist as 'a floater' not knowing I already knew she was not a usual staff member, but regardless, my dr. was rude to her so I had to go w/o my medication? My calm, cool, collected, extremely kind husband called me from the parking lot after the final attempt and he told me he raised his voice and yelled at the pharmacist, told her she was unprofessional and causing his wife undue stress, among other things. I was beyond stressed because he never raises his voice, he is the most calm person I know - and he hit his limit with this TEMPORARY pharmacist. In the wee hours I got the app for the pharmacy I ended up getting the meds from and I electronically transferred all of my prescriptions to that place, I can't fathom having to go through anything even close to what I went through yesterday. We are going to be writing up a formal complaint and making phone calls but I need to calm down first, but this review I can do, so there it is.

Meat counters, fresh vegetables and fruit, sauces, Middle Eastern food, Greek, Mexican, Gyros, sandwiches, baked goods, salads and so much more are all over. Even stalls that repeat the same types of items have their own unique spin and history. It's busy, with people everywhere looking and enjoying their purchases. Prices are reasonable, especially how fresh and local everything is. I bought a bunch of small things to eat while we walked, together we bought shishkabobs and steak to enjoy at home the following day. It's a great place to shop local!

Sausage lovers will be in heaven, and beyond that, you'll find incredible produce, fresh fish, quality proteins, and a wonderful representation of the many cultures that make Cleveland what it is. All of this is housed inside a historic building with stunning architecture that makes the experience even better. Pro tip: Climb the stairs to the second floor for an incredible bird's-eye view of the entire market. It's the perfect way to appreciate just how special this Cleveland landmark really is.

After 2019, this pharmacy became a complete nightmare to deal with. Where do I start? From the "meal breaks" where no person is available in the pharmacy from a certain time to a certain time at least an hour which varies depending on who is there and how they are feeling that day. To days where you go to the drive thru pharmacy and it is randomly closed because of staffing issues. Some of these issues I could understand in late 2019 all the way until 2021. After 2021 up to present day, this place has used that "Covid" excuse as a means to continue a pattern of utter laziness and nonchalant way of conducting business. If a business is understaffed.....hire more people. If people are underqualified....train them. I paint for a living, I don't need a pharmicist to give me helpful hints on how to do my job, why do I have to give advice to pharmacists or managers of Walgreens? I do my job and I do it well, why can't they do their jobs and do them well? Other issues besides being randomly open at all different times and days would be: being out of stock of certain medications and not being able to get them for weeks (I am not exaggerating.....weeks!) I was a customer for many years, I explained that I was taking my prescriptions to Giant E. and they didn't seem to mind at all. Actually, I was convinced that employees and management want people to leave and take Rx elsewhere because it lightens their workload. I have not been happier since I took my Rx to a different pharmacy. I think upper management might want to look at this particular location. I am not certain about other locations but this one is absolutely horrendous.
