I didn't have an appoint and he took the car right in, found the culprit (small nail) and repaired it within 20 minutes! He didn't rob me for the repair as well! Even tho I'm not from the area, I give Walt's and especially Jamie 5 STARS. Outstanding!

I didn't feel like laying on the cold ground and at my age it was time to let a garage do the work. I took it to Walts for a oil and filter change $75 for 5qts of fully synthetic oil and filter. When I got home I found over a qt. shy of oil and they never changed the filter. The oil on the dip stick looked like used oil. If you treasure your vehicles and you want them to last I suggest shop around. If you have someone you know family or friend that has some mechanical background. Have them look at the work that was done.

I happened to find this place by chance, it was actually recommended to me by another mechanic since he didn't work on Diesel engines he suggested Darren at DC Automotive. I've always done my own work to save money and to learn a few things, but lately I just do not have time. First, I need to mention the pricing. This place is more than fair with their pricing. I didn't even want to get the work done that needed to be done because I was told, by another mechanic, it was going to cost a ton of money, but when the bill came it was much lower than I expected it to be. I was so happy with how reasonable they were! I didn't say they were cheap...they just price fairly. Which brings me to another great aspect about them: they are extremely competent. The work they do here is exceptional! Very knowledgeable and I've never felt like they were trying to nickel and dime me. It always felt like Darren was really trying to help me to get my truck back on the road in the most cost-efficient way possible without sacrificing quality of work. They don't cut corners at all and make sure you get what you need without trying to rob you. Lastly I have to bring up how extremely approachable the staff is here. I've been in contact with both Darren (the owner) and Britney who takes care of everyone that brings their vehicles here. They have both been extremely pleasant to work with. They take their time to make sure I am heard and it never feels like they're rushing to get done with me. It is kind of odd to say but it feels like I've known both of them for a while with how easy going and caring they are. Hands down this business gets 5 stars from me. Ultimately I've decided that I will not bring any vehicle I own to any other place. Vehicle: 2010 F350 6.4l Powerstroke

I mainly wanted an honest opinion on whether it was safe to drive about 60 miles home or if I needed immediate repairs. The mechanic took the car for a quick test drive and did a visual inspection, explaining what they were checking and what signs I should look out for in the future. They were very respectful, informative, and easy to talk to. What really stood out was that they gave me multiple options and recommendations without trying to pressure me into any specific repair or upsell me on anything. That kind of honesty is rare and really appreciated, especially at an auto shop. I'd definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy and straightforward mechanic.

It looked clean and organized. I was assisted within a few minutes of arriving. I booked an appointment for a noise coming from somewhere in the engine, an oil change, a clutch adjustment, a new inspection sticker. I was able to get in the following Wednesday- I dropped my car off at 8am. I received a call from the shop saying I needed synthetic oil instead of a blend. No problem. Liked the communication. I received a second call at 3pm to say the car was ready. I went and picked it up at 4:45pm the same day! Apparently, my heat shield was loose- hence the noise. No noise now. Oil change - done. Inspection- done. Clutch adjustment- done. The bill was very reasonable- surprising actually because I thought it would cost more. I am a very happy new customer, and this is where I am going to keep going. Pros- communication, professionalism, quick work, great attitude of the employees.
