This company didn't outstanding job for a great price. We are definitely happy with the service and definitely gonna call him back for our next project. The backyard look like a forest, full of weeds, and whatever else. It was totally unusable for us and my dogs. Now it's clean and accessible. Thank you. read more

Acevedo Tree Service did a great job trimming our oak trees. The price was fair. The workers and the owner, Gerardo, showed up on time and got right to work. They were fast, efficient, and were able to do more than I expected. The workmen were friendly, courteous, and responsive. Special shout-out to Miguel for doing a great job supervising the team. Definitely recommend! read more

We would highly recommend Acevedo Tree Service!!! They responded to our calls immediately and gave us an appointment for a huge tree removal two days later.... The workers arrived ahead of schedule and were very professional! They worked quickly and thoroughly!!! We had a rock formation around a 50 plus year old huge palm tree that had to be removed as it had died. They moved the huge lava rocks prior to removing the tree and roots and when complete they covered the hole after removing all traces of the roots and they beautifully rearranged the rocks They removed all dust and dirt, swept the area and had it looking absolutely gorgeous without being asked. The crew was definitely a team of professionals! The price was very reasonable and we 100% would recommend them !! read more

I've been doing business with Gerardo for over 20 years now and I am never disappointed. His guys are thorough, conscientious, and always leave my place immaculate! I can always count on my trees looking great afterwards. And...the cost of the trimming is always very fair. read more

A big tree on our property line lost it--huge limb just broke (due to termite damage, it turns out) on Tuesday early a.m.. New neighbors are scheduled to move in on Saturday. Limb completely blocked their driveway. Called three tree services for quotes. Gerardo came in with the best quote, and said he could get the job done before moving vans arrived. His crew arrived promptly (like on the minute) at 7:00 a.m. today and were finished and cleaned up at 11:30. Left the premises spotless and did a great job. I would definitely recommend Gerardo's company and will use them again. read more

This review is for customer service only. Got an estimate from the company to get my tree trimmed and decided to move forward with scheduling. We decided on a date, then I sent a text asking what time they would arrive. A few days go by and no reply so I decided to call and spoke to someone who said they are figuring out scheduling and would let me know the day before. Day before service arrives, no communication. I send a text that night asking for an update and wake up on the day of service with no reply. I call twice on the day of service at difference times and no answer. Surprised with the lack of communication considering all the positive reviews, but this is terrible customer service. read more

We met Gerardo while driving up the street in Bel-Air and asked if he could stop by the house to see the job and give the estimate for removing a few stumps. Much to our surprise, without further ado, Gerardo showed up with a hack and quite quickly and efficiently cut these down fairly deep. The quality of the job and the price were great and Gerardo was very professional. We will definitely use this company in the future! read more

We requested a quote from this company 9/26/24 and they never got in touch with us - all the inquiry showed online was that they were "reviewing the request". How long does it need to take to review? We ended up going with one of the other companies that quoted us and we were happy we did. read more

We had a GIANT dead tree in our yard. It was leaning toward the house and we called Gerardo. He came out the next morning and the base of the trunk was so soft, he was able to put his hand into it. He got the crew to come back that afternoon and cut back the tree ASAP so that it would be safe and not fall onto the house. It was a massive job - the tree was overgrown with vines and contained a rotting tree house and monkey bars, but they were able to complete the job in 2 afternoons, including removing the stump. Very professional and they did a great job - even helping us save a smaller tree in the vicinity. read more

Highly recommend! Gerardo was on time and did everything we agreed on AND for a great price. Its a family business and the workers were all very nice. They trimmed 3 palm trees for us and did it quickly and efficiently. There was a family of raccoons living in one of the palm trees and they were careful not to harm them (while destroying their home of course - they'll find a new one I'm sure). They also removed 6 trees that were dead in our backyard and cut the wood up so we can burn it in our fire pit. They took all of the trash away and left the yard clean. Gerardo was very nice and very professional. Can't recommend enough! Thanks Gerardo! read more

Acevedo Tree Service - There's a family of raccoons at the very top! - Tree Services Near Me - Los Angeles, California

We hired them to cut down a massive tree trunk. They gave us a quote and we accepted. They promised to cut down the trunk, dig it out, remove the top roots and level the ground. Only the tree was removed but everything promised was not down. they left it a complete disaster. Most of the roots are showing and when we addressed it the boss changed the whole thing. He stated they can not remove all roots. Then when we asked why they were tapping down all the excessive mulch instead of picking it up, they became upset and disrespectful. In the end the service was absolutely awful. I do not recommend them. My front lawn was destroyed and the mess they left behind will cost me more than the tree removal. read more

Total pros. We lost a large tree during the recent storms. Most of it ended up in the neighbor's yard. Acevedo Tree Service gave me a fair quote and showed up on time and removed and ground up the tree in less than two hours. They did a great job cleaning up and were very conscientious of our yard, etc. Neighbors were happy. I was happy. Great company!!! read more

Got the job done well and efficiently. One knock, one of his grinders popped a sprinkler so I was out of water for a few hours. They brought in a specialist to fix it. After replacing the broken piece, another leak was found. They fixed that as well. As I was expecting them to charge me extra, to my surprise they did not. Overall, they did exactly what we agreed upon. Cleaned up very well. Definitely recommend them. read more

Best prices. Worked very quickly and did a thorough job cleaning up the HUGE mess, but broke some plants/vegetation in the process, one of our yard light fixtures was reinstalled very loosely after they uninstalled it, and I feel that they over-trimmed the palm fronds but hoping it'll fill out again quickly. Overall, did a good job and would probably use them again. read more

Needed trees trimmed back to the property line. Gerardo and his team came bright and early, work efficiently and carefully. There was a few power lines, but they navigated the falling branches perfectly. Cleaned and leaf blew the areas they worked on as well. Would highly recommend. read more

Removed a few stumps for us at our new home. We were very pleased with their efficiency. I would hire again for future work.

I noticed that they were working in the area and ask for an estimate to trim a pine tree that the City never came to take out even though they indicated that they would. I got a reasonable estimate and a date for the work. He called to confirm the time, they came when they said they would and did a terrific job. Best of all - they thoroughly cleaned up the mess even the pine needles that were on the roof. Very pleased with their work. read more

We had a big dead pine tree right at the property line. Like really big. And really dead. And really on the property line. We called a few places for quotes. Gerardo came in strong - there was another one about the same but I picked Gerardo. I yelped him on Friday. He quoted me on Sunday. His crew showed up on time on Thursday. And when I say show up - I mean really show up. Like 7 professionals with heavy equipment and huge chainsaws. They did the job in two days. It was a very hard job. His crew cleaned up everything and fixed some minor paint scratches from moving the tree parts through a very narrow walkway. read more

Decades of overgrown ivy had taken over the side of my house and my garage. Gerardo came over to take a look and beat every quote mostly because he has an excavator that did the job in a quarter of the time than what would have taken 2-3 days doing it by hand. His crew also trimmed a large tree away from my house and cut back all of the bushes away from my house and garage. Thanks again! read more

Mr. Gerardo Acevedo and his crew do a great job. I had a tree in a spot that was difficult to access: the back corner of a narrow (like 6' wide), closed space between two commercial buildings. Its large branches were pressing against the buildings, and it was dropping tons of leaves that clogged up the roof drains and got into the A/C unit. I reached out to Mr. Acevedo to get a quote; he got back to me promptly, and we arranged a convenient time to meet. We consulted and, though I'm generally not keen on cutting down trees, we agreed that that was probably the best solution given the problems the tree was causing. His quote seemed fitting for the scale of this project, and it was clear sailing from there. Mr. Acevedo was professional, flexible, and easy to work with. He and his crew were very punctual, worked efficiently, knocked out the tree removal swiftly, and cleaned up thoroughly when they were done. I highly recommend Gerardo Acevedo Tree Service. read more

Don't bother asking for an estimate from this company. I had an appointment with Gerardo for a specific time, but he showed up an hour early, and gave only a 10-min advance notice. Then when onsite, he did not say much, not explaining what he plans to do, and just gave a quote for the job. When asked if he can go lower on the price, he gave an attitude and started asking sarcastic questions, and left with rude remarks. Very rude and not professional at all. A few days before Christmas, we had a huge pine tree fall in our front yard, blocking our walkway and porch. Gerardo came within an hour to give us an estimate to remove the fallen tree and to remove another just like it that was still standing but precarious. His estimate was more than fair, and his hard working, friendly and attentive crew was there the next morning at 7am to start work. We couldn't be happier with the work he did and would recommend his crew to anyone. read more
