Not a cheap job by any means. All looked nice at first but within 2 years, parts of both started showing signs of cracking and spalling. My husband called them back out to see what could be done and were told they couldn't do anything except replace the whole thing again? The explanation is the weather in Chicago is the reason. By the third year, the area where the garage floor meets the concrete driveway and parts of the driveway are crumbling. I didn't expect any of this within the first few years.. and I don't see other newer driveways in my neighborhood with this issue. Something was wrong with what they used or how they mixed their product. Now, water seeps into the garage through the cracks at winter time. It's extremely upsetting and each year that goes by, I get more upset. More and more crumbling. I wish they had better options for us or could do something without charging us for a full redo. Please STOP and READ this before you decide to contract with this company!…read more We decided to have Xclusive remove and replace our 20 year old driveway in the summer of 2023. Six months later our driveway, sidewalk, apron, and walkway are completely falling apart. Xclusive spent 67 days "investigating" the damage only to come back and tell us we did this to ourselves by parking a car in the driveway allowing salt to drip on the concrete. As ridiculous as that sounds, we don't even own a second car that would park outside of our garage. This was after threatening us with $2,000 fee to test the concrete which we refused to pay. They also threated us when we advised we were going to provide our truthful review on social media, which they should know is against the Consumer Review Fairness Act. Nearly our entire driveway is damaged and with the surface falling apart. Our 20 year old driveway looked better. Do yourself a favor and contract with another concrete company that will stand by their work. As it stands, we are now forced to take them to court to have them do the right thing.

It's about 31 inches by 40 inches and I fully expected it needs replacement. So they got back to me quickly and have been very responsive. That's the reason for the positive 4 stars that was given. So you are wondering what's the valuable info? It's that there is apparently a minimum charge. While this may not be a surprise to you, the minimum charge itself may be. They said it would cost me $2500 to replace that one section of sidewalk. That's $2500 not including permit fees, too much for me.... but maybe not for you. In any case, I wouldn't hesitate to reach out to them for an estimate in future. Just not for small jobs, as I'm sure I can find someone to replace one square section of sidewalk for less than $2500 +.

He had a lot of great ideas and options for the job at hand - we really wish we had found him and his company earlier to contract the main job (installation of a new shed). He is really personable and it was really great talking to him. He involved my wife when she came out - and we kind of lost track of time as we were talking about some of his previous jobs, his work at his home, and even his cool truck. The job was done when he scheduled it, and done very well (better than the people who would later put up my shed). We had him put down a framed, gravel base and it turned out great.
