The bartenders were very pleasant, and they came out to the patio to give our 15 week old husky mix puppy pets and treats. The house made beers were top notch. There was a food truck serving Turkish doner kebabs that were really delicious. We'll happily return to this excellent establishment the next time the winds blow us to Golden.

The staff does a great job staying on top of clearing dishes and wiping down tables, so everything stayed clean despite how busy it was. When you arrive, they check your ID, stamp your hand to show you're 21+, and give you a card that's used throughout your visit. Every drink and food station scans your card, and drinks are charged by the ounce, so you can pour as little or as much as you'd like. They even have pre-salted glasses ready for margaritas! If you're unsure how the system works, staff members are nearby and happy to help. The food selection is impressive. There are several vendors offering everything from sushi and burgers to mac and cheese, Mexican food, ice cream, and more, so there's something for everyone. We ordered the loaded nachos, which came with chili, cheese, corn, and pico de gallo. They were really good, although I think they would have been even better with a side of guacamole and sour cream. The outdoor seating area has plenty of tables, lots of fans, and covered sections that provide welcome relief from the Colorado sun. The views are another highlight--you can overlook Clear Creek with the mountains in the background, and even see the Coors Brewery from the patio. The ricotta, though, was missing in action (we never got it), just like our server, who never once checked on us after taking our order. I think he said maybe three words to us the entire time we were there. We left hungry, frustrated, and disappointed by the service (or lack thereof).

I've been there a few times, and one of the employees in particular just comes across as being very erratic. The last time that I went in there, he took the bottle of wine I was trying to buy and started to slam it on the counter. Until that point, we didn't have any conversation at all so I was worried about his state of mind (thankfully the bottle didn't break). He behaved the same way with a friend of mine on a different occasion. I won't return here.
