A great local hardware store. It's on the smaller size ,but it has A good selection of items. The great thing about this hardware store is that it's smaller you can get personalized help and they do make keys. This staff is friendly and very helpful. read more

Love having a "real" hardware store close by. Reggie is amazing; brought in a key that was old as heck and he managed to find a blank x2 and get my keys made. HEY ACE THIS GUY DESERVES A RAISE. The customer service and more importantly the genuine greetings as you come through the door and the offer to assist are worth their weight in gold. It's refreshing after being out in the South Bay and greeted with phones in faces and little or no eye contact with store employees. Keep up the great work ya'll see you sooner than later. read more

This by far is the best hardware store around! Their customer service is beyond fantastic! We bought a BBQ for our son and not only did they have the best price but they assembled it and delivered it in time for his birthday at no extra charge! The store itself is well stocked and very clean and tidy. The staff is extremely helpful ... highly recommend this store. read more

Great staff willing to go the extra mile to serve you. If they don't have it they will find it. Stephanie helped me find what I needed and made sure I had everything to complete the job. The whole staff is friendly, love that store. They answer the phone with "Ace whatever it takes" and they really try to deliver on there slogan. Thank you guys for the help. read more

Horrible front entrance. No clear way to get in. The front doors are locked during business hours and their main back door is COVERED in junk and random items. Couldn't even tell they were open. I'm sure if I were to get into the store, inside would have been just the same nightmare. Way better at Home Depot. Wonderful and knowledgeable people to ask questions from too :) Home Depot over Ace ANYDAY :) read more

Does just one person work in Sunday's? Oh my god, the only person helping anyone at 10am was an employee named Andrew, he was running up and down the isles helping at least 5 people with no one at the counter to check anyone out. he did a fabulous job helping everyone out including myself, maybe next time Ace should schedule more than one person in the morning, Thanks Andrew for all your help... read more

The store might be okay inside, but they are not open when they say they are... It's well past their opening time, and there are zero employees in here, abs the lights are all off. Maybe they have gone out of business and just didn't tell anyone... read more

I like this Ace Hardware location it was clean spacious things was included everywhere and things were easy to find. The ladies restroom was even clean as well. The manager of the store where I believe is the manager the store was so friendly and informative. He even signed me up for my rewards card. I will revisit this location even though it's a distance away from my home location. I'm such a traveler so I'll be back around. read more

Hours advertised on line til 7 on Sunday. Girls closing store at 6;00 pm. This is why you go to Home Depot.

Best customer service! Friendly and helpful. Walked me to the aisle of items I was looking for and stayed close by in case we had more questions. read more

While I do use Yelp to make decisions on what restaurant or small business to visit, I do not normally write a review. But, this time, I just have to... Last Thursday, June 9, 2016, we were in the car talking about going to one of the orange or blue big-box hardware stores. But, as we mentioned it, we just happened to be approaching the new Ace Hardware store on PCH at Narbonne (across the street from CVS). And, thank goodness !! We stopped there and found out,... Ace really IS the place with the helpful hardware woman !! And, her name is Stephanie !! :) From start to finish, she helped me get my project started. She listened to my needs and was knowledgeable about their products. What more can you ask !! Obviously, we plan to return on a regular basis. read more

Great service per Alex. Needed a specific screw for my car battery. Alex volunteered and was determined to find the correct screw/washer/nut combo, and install on my car for me. Great service! Thanks Alex. read more

Awesome store! I had a custom screen made at Ace in West LA and it needed to be a tad shorter & narrower and Joshua at Ace Lomita was the kindest soul ever to fix it immediately after his shift ended. He couldn't have been nicer! Well stocked store. Store opens onto easy and plentiful parking. Fast in and out. We are so lucky to have an Ace back in the neighborhood!! read more

My thanks to Reggie in the hardware dept for helping me select the proper gfci outlet for my kitchen. Reggie guided me to the right hardware without making me feel dumb. Ace could use more knowledgeable and pleasant associates like Reggie. Give him an attaboy. read more

Great experience here. One of those few times where you walk in a business and are greeted by someone who you can tell truly is there to help you, with a smile and cares, not a forced interaction. Stephanie is great, very friendly, helped me find a super random light bulb and was in and out! 5 stars! read more

Came here for some Romax wire for a project. A guy named Reggie greeted me at the door and helped me find exactly what I was looking for. He even double checked the sample I brought with he. He showed a lot more concern then most hardware store employees do. Thanks for the help Reggie! read more

A five star plus! Great service! You are always greeted by the knowledgeable, friendly staff. Stephanie is very approachable and knowledgeable and always greets you with her friendly smile. We have an antique / used furniture store down the street and Ace has become the place for virtually all of our hardware etc. needs. Forget the Home Depot and Lowes store and support our local Lomita hardware store. You never have to call for someone to assist you as the staff is there to help you. read more

These guys are cool and everything. Extremely helpful. My only gripe is that the Yelp page says they close at 8:30 pm but when I got there today they're were closed and it was 7:21 pm. Still get five stars though. read more

This was my first visit to this new Ace Hardware store in Lomita. Stephanie, the Assistant Manager, provided terrific personal service helping me find the various items I needed, much appreciated! Looking around prior to departure, it appears this particular store is extremely well-stocked with attention paid to tidy displays of their merchandise. All in all, this Ace store appears to be superior than other hardware stores with far better service than found in the "big box" stores. Based on today's visit, this store is now my "go to" hardware store in time of need. read more

Great store, they have everything I need and more....employee's are very friendly and helpful. Jason went above and beyond to help me with what I needed for my project. GREAT PLACE TO SHOP! read more

This location is clean, well organized and staffed by wonderful people. Not only have they assisted me in finding hard to find items but they truly care about the customer. I have been in there with my four year old and every visit after they remember her and ask how she is doing. They have helpful suggestions on how to do my projects in the most cost effective matter. Also they have really good prices on cleaning supplies. This is the place that is the place for helpful people, cleaning supplies, paint, gardening, tools and random household needs. For musicians out there go here for the zip ties for your equipment have a large selection on sizes and lengths. read more

My Dad's Ace used to be in Carson. He's gone, and so is Carson Ace. I like the "New" Ace. Still able to "find" someone to help you, but it's "younger". I was looking for paint for my teenage daughter. The Assistant Manager Stephanie helped us find the color, and showed us some Quality paints. Stephanie also made sure we had all the painting accessories. Ace Lomita is my family's hardware store. Their prices are competitive as well. Thanks Stephanie & Team. See you soon. read more
