The drain was a large 4" PVC cap that I had nothing in the tool box that would open it . Initially I headed for Home Depot when it occured to me,Harbor Freight may have a more cost effective solution. Bingo! Not only did the " oil filter" wrench for $9.99 do the trick but,it was invaluable when I reassembled the filter housing and needed a certain leverage on the clamp. This gives me confidence that if you shop smart with an idea of the outcome you need, Harbor Freight is likely to have a low priced solution.

I went in three hours later and they hadn't begun mixing. Said they had been busy with customers! Am I not a customer?! Came back 40 minutes later and the paint was finally ready for pick up. $90!!!! And that was the supposed sale price! Stupid me didn't ask the price ahead of time because 4-5 years ago I bought a few quarts for around $8-9 each. I should have refused the order. All I can think is they used a high quality paint for the samples. I think the employee had a responsibility to inform the customer - me - of the price per quart ($21!). They also have a wide selection of welding and metal working tools. Fulton's also deals in used steel sold by the pound, including sections of metal, tanks, panels, and whatever else they can come up with. I've even seen on old lathe for sale by the pound there. Unfortunately you have to pay for the convenience of not driving to Metal Sales in Gainesville or R & R in Muenster. Most of their new metal is 30-40 cents/ft higher than Metal Sales. They still beat buying angle iron at Home Depot, and their used material selection is great, especially if you need a 5 or 10 ft of something.
