***UPDATE*** Finally…read moreresolved. The owner was engaging and empathetic. We are happy with our floors. The process left a bit to be desired, but glad this is behind us. This company excels at sales, but is dead last in service. Their follow up was impeccable in the sales process. From there, the installation was just ok. The install crew itself was good. Vinyl flooring install went as planned, but our carpet install had to be rescheduled, and this is where the wheels started to come off. The administrative/service side of their business leaves a lot to be desired. Somehow, someone added an incorrect contact number to their database, and they claim follow up calls were made to that number. I spoke to 5-6 people about this, and to date I'm not sure if it's been corrected on their end. It's worth noting that my cell # is in my email signature, and it's hard to understand why you don't have the right number when you're trading texts with me. Since installation, I've spent the last 6 weeks trying to get an appointment for, what I would describe, minor service. There are 2-3 planks that need attention, but getting this done has been excruciating. I've made multiple attempts by phone, text and email, and after that I had to seek out the owner on Facebook instant messenger before I could actually get an appointment scheduled. Since then? I've been no-showed twice. Not even a courtesy call to say "running late or something came up". Yes you read that correctly, I've been stood up on consecutive appointments without the courtesy of a single phone call. So it's been almost 2 months since I've paid, and 6 weeks since the install, and I'm still hoping/praying to get minor service done. For what it's worth, I found this company thru the Costco home services program, and I've now begun to escalate this thru them. I will shoulder some blame for not working thru Costco earlier to rectify this issue. At this point I would definitely NOT recommend My Flooring America (Denton/I35 location).

Our job was a kitchen and bathroom remodel and morphed into a little more. As we expanded the job, the work was never beyond their ability - the quality of the work was never compromised and there was never an issue of asking of too much. Many time contractors flee the moment they can because the job has been completed but Sean and Tim made sure we were satisfied and if not they corrected at their cost These guys hustle, show up and follow thru - that is the way busy is conducted in my mind. He is extremely slow which works to his advantage at $90/hour, showing up when its convenient for him because he never gives you an exact time. Took him a week to do a 2 day job. He charged us an unexpected $1400+ for texturizing the garage ceiling and painting the garage, without clearly outlining all that he was doing, his outrageous rate or a complete estimate for the job. What a joke. After finally agreeing to a reasonable price he promised to drop off a check the next day. Instead he showed up two days later with a check for half of what he promised. When I texted to ask why he had gone back on our agreement he told me to "lose his number." This is my experience, but you have been warned.

They painted our window frames, sanded and refinished ~3000sq of floors, repainted a rec room, repainted our entire living room, dining room, entryway, ceilings, removed multiple fans and replaced with recessed lighting, fixed the entire houses baseboards and painted the skirting boards, fixed drywall holes, painted door frames and interior doors. The home we purchased has not been updated in over a 15 years, and now it is completely transformed into something beautiful. CL Design's team was honest, fair in their pricing, and were extremely competitive in the market for their work. There were no surprises, no last minute adjustments, and they were transparent every step of the way. Having worked in construction and renovation banking prior, we were aware of pricing differentials in the marketplace and where general contractors often may overcharge or hide fees. CL Design has upstanding business practices, and are trustworthy. Beyond the work is also what truly solidified the relationship - their communication, clarity, and professionalism throughout was unparalleled. My wife and I were overseas for 2 weeks while the project was wrapping up, and Briana from the team helped us navigate the final pieces. Not only that, but they coordinated with outside contractors (windows, landscaping, HVAC) to ensure all projects were completed in a timely fashion and in conjunction. Furthermore, they, while communicating with us abroad, helped coordinate the placement of all of our furniture that had been in the garage waiting for the floors to complete. We were able to walk into our completed home with all of our furnishings in place, making it FEEL like a home because of their thoughtfulness in organizing and placing everything with such care.
