First impression one of the best guys around. I felt right at home with the presence of ace handy man. Like I was in goid hands. We had several projects but the main one was a small scratch I n the floor. He came right in and cleaned it up like it was never there. They change lights bulbs they put baby gates up, have a squeaky door they fix it. Lots of different projects we had and they were able to get right in and get them done for us with a reasonable price. Absolutely super job yesterday by Cliff in rerouting our dryer vent so that it no longer goes 10 feet up through the attic to a roof vent but straight out through the side, wall of the house, a distance of about 18 inches. This makes it much easier to clean and also for helps to reduce the risk of fire. It's a Cliff about three hours to do this job, including drilling through the brick on the side of the house. He is professional, courteous, and does a great job. We highly recommend ACE HANDYMAN. read more

I would highly recommend Arturo Gonzales from Ace. Arturo practiced safe COVID procedures throughout the 4-5 hrs he was here and was non stop the whole time. Even when my wife, who likes to meet and talk with people and find out about their lives, talked to him about his family and life. Arturo took it all in stride and never wavered in his work. I hired Ace Handyman Services to install 300 square feet of ceiling board on a patio. They quoted $2000, which was on the high side, but I didn't want to hire the lowest bidder. They gave me an 8-hour appointment. Two workers came and worked a total of 5 hours --they showed up at 9am, took a 1 hour lunch, and left at 3pm. Most of that time, one of the workers was on his phone. When they left, 20% was done, and they said I would need to schedule another day to finish. I was contacted later by the office. They wanted $1000 right away for the day, and an additional $2000 to finish the job (50% over their quote). The earliest they could return was in two weeks. I was not happy about this; I felt they should get paid when the job is done, honor their quote, and try to finish the job sooner --my ceiling was open to the outside! Reviewing the work, the quality was not there. There were big gaps between boards, ragged cuts, ends not cut square, and planks joined in strange places. They did not bring the right tools for the job, and tried to cut boards freehand with a circular saw on the tile floor. After reviewing the work with another professional, the decision was made to start over. I cancelled my second appointment with Ace, and had the hastily installed boards removed. The cost of lost materials was close to $400. I sent them photos, but Ace is still demanding $1100 for the half day. Since we had to demolish the work, our call to Ace was a $1500 loss. read more

The service to repair a hole in the soffit was terrible. I would not recommend Ace Handyman to anyone. They fit a three hole job into 7 hours. They don't come on time, they leave garbage at site(then tell you after the fact that picking up garbage is a extra cost), and then they tell you there is a 50% up charge on labor and materials (again after they sent out an invoice). I will never use Ace Handyman Service. From 1 to 10 going from bad to good I'd give them a ZERO. My recommendation is to NOT ever use them for any handyman service. read more

Most businesses said they would not be able to help me for a few weeks/months, but you guys were able to come the next morning. Garrett was my handyman and provided friendly and thorough service. Was quoted 2 hours to remove a ceiling light fixture (the 80's style rectangular enclosure with lots of wood etc). He did say that they will only charge for time spent if the job was done sooner. Showed up on time and did the job in about 1h 15m. At that point, I had the choice of just paying for time used, or filling it the 2 hours with other tasks which is what I ended up doing. He also fixed a gate for me and gave me ideas on a shower tile work. I was very happy with the work done. read more

So the problem with your response is that when we first complained we were told you, the owner, and Arturo who tore up our yard and didnt not complete the job would come back to fix the problems because you wanted to make things right and do what ever needed to exceed our expectations. Well you didnt show and Arturo told us he cant complete the job we hired your company to do and your company always leaves yards torn up it's our problem not yours. So now we have to still have orginal problem fixed and spend extra money to replace the sod your company tore up and didnt replace correctly.You walk in our yard and it sinks now because they didnt pack dirt back instead they threw the dirt in our flower bed and around our tree. So sod we have to buy and we have to remulch our flower bed and tree area. We use rubber mulch so its expensive. To top it off they left food in our bushes. Your horrible service and work is costing us a lot of money and you left our yard trashed. All is unacceptable. read more
