DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE CROOKS! THEY ARE LIARS!…read more I had the massive misfortune of trusting David and Haz at Akar auto with a cross country purchase at a very sensitive time in my life. The first question I asked was ' is there any severe rust or rust issues? To which David said - no not at all. Simply some surface rust.. Turns out - after picking the vehicle up and taking it in for an oil change, the entire bottom of the car was corroded and rusted out. The vehicle needed $5,000 in repairs ASIDE from the rust and on top of that they tacked on a $3,000 warranty never verbalized to me and my payments went from the promised $320 a month to $480 for a vehicle that needs over $5,000 in repairs to get on the road. I have never been screwed over so bad in my life. They have refused to work with me in any fashion. Im sure one of them will pop on here and say "we told you to bring it in the same day". Ya, Not to return it as i tried to do, for their mechanics to look at it again (the same mechanics who passed it). So no i didnt bring it back in. I ended up paying $20,000 for a 2013 nissan frontier that had a check engine light come on in the first 1,000 miles, needed all new tires, needed brakes and rotors (TO A DANGEROUS EXTENT), needed all new suspension, the hood flew up after leaving the dealership, needed everything serviced among other things. DO NOT BUY HERE!!!

Well I had to invest an extra approx. $4K in repairs to get the car to pass inspection and driveable. David and Charlie are untrustworthy. They sold me a car that had many issues from brakes, to engine issues to battery drains! Very, very mis-leading.

Had a slight glitch I booked appointment with Jen but when I…read morearrived they didn't have me on the schedule not to worry I worked with Linh Duong and she was so helpful. Linh got me on the schedule which I so appreciated. Asked if I wanted my car washed (it's free)....so yes and thank you. The process was streamlined and so easy after check in I was told to make myself comfortable in the waiting area. Free coffee and water is offered while you sit in the plush leather seats. A short time later a staff member came by with a basket filled with individually wrapped granola bars. Linh came over shortly after to inform me the inspection was done and I was just waiting for car to be washed. Soon after she came back with my paperwork in hand and showed me to the cashier. The car was spotless and I received my invoice which detailed all that was done and a print out of the multi-point inspection breakdown. I couldn't be happier with the service provided to me by Linh and the staff.....this location has excellent customer service. I will most certainly look to connect with Linh anytime I need anything done.

This was one of the most frustrating and troubling post-sale experiences I have had with a…read moredealership. I purchased a used vehicle in December as a Pennsylvania resident from this New Jersey dealership and paid all taxes, title, registration, and license plate fees in full at the time of sale. Weeks later, I learned the registration process had stalled due to a dealership error in processing my identification. I corrected this immediately once notified. From that point forward, communication was poor and almost entirely reactive. I had to initiate nearly every follow-up. As my temporary tag approached expiration, I was told my plates and registration were ready, then abruptly informed that they would not be released unless I paid an additional fee that had never been disclosed previously. What made this especially upsetting was not just the late demand for more money, but the tone and manner in which it was handled. During phone conversations, the issue was repeatedly framed as my fault, despite the delay clearly stemming from dealership error. I was spoken to in a dismissive and disrespectful manner, as though I had done something wrong by questioning why I was being asked for additional money weeks after paying in full. Given that Pennsylvania registration and plate fees are publicly known and significantly lower than what I was already charged, the situation felt less like an honest mistake and more like an attempt to extract additional money under time pressure. That perception was reinforced by the fact that, after escalation, the dealership ultimately agreed to absorb the additional amount. Even after that written confirmation, there were further delays and no proactive communication. My temporary registration expired, leaving me unable to legally operate the vehicle I had already paid for in full. The plates and registration were eventually delivered, but only after repeated escalation and unnecessary stress. The issue was resolved, but the experience left me feeling disrespected, blamed for the dealership's own errors, and pressured in a way that felt inappropriate. Buyers, especially those purchasing from out of state, should be extremely cautious and prepared to closely monitor every step of the registration process.

I immediately called and the salesman told me to bring it back and if there was any issues With the car that they would refund me my money. Two days past and still no call so I called them and they told me the car is ready perfectly fine just a gasket and they fixed it. They will not refund me for a $50 gasket. I argued with the owner Joe saying I wanted a refund if there was one problem with the car I'm sure there will be more he ensured me the car is in excellent condition and that I bought the best warranty that would cover everything. Not even a month later my check engine light comes on and my car is making a loud noise. I bring it to a mechanic and there is over $4800 in damage to the car. The warranty is only covering $890 of the total damage and I paid $2400 for the warranty. I totally got ripped off so much for joe being a stand up guy like he said. Telling me that he doesn't sell bad cars the only reason I got the great deal I got was because he has cancer and is selling his business.
