I want to tell you that this the best place to fix your windows. I've been hit four times with break ins, three in Ala Moana area, between Kaheka Street and Rycroft Steet) and on Kukui Street. I immediately drive to them and replace it...have a out of pocket $500 deductible on my insurance. I find them the cheapest unlike Safelite. The replacement window had to be special ordered and took about a week. The folks at Ace were kind enough to seal up the area of the broken window with plastics so rain wouldn't get into the car. Why is there a reflective sliver of foil on my windshield? That wasn't there yesterday. OH SNAP THAT'S NO FOIL THAT'S A 6" CRACK. So apparently sometime between picking up food on Friday night and waking up Saturday morning, something hit my car windshield hard enough to leave a crack so long that the resin fix could not fix. Just my luck. Anyways, my insurance suggested Ace Auto as their preferred vendor and gave me an estimate (which was higher than the real quote), except it was Saturday and they're closed. But they have this handy dandy online quote requestor and bam, Monday rolls around and before they even officially open, I get a reasonable quote by email. They also agreed to take my car that day if I could drop the car off before Noon. Thank goodness they're walking distance to my office. Ace was able to finish the windshield replacement in under 3 hours from drop off and even managed to remove my dashcam's mounting bracket with the sticky part intact! They must have a seriously awesome heat gun. The one issue is that you must retrieve your car by 4 PM. I took my car into Ace to have a moonroof glass replaced at the request of my car hauler for shipping it to California. The moon roof operated perfectly and never leaked or had an issue. I was told my car was done in less then 30 minutes. I drove home and parked my car. Overnight it rained and I woke up to an inch or 2 of water in my floor, my ceiling and leather seats soaked. I took my car back to the Aiea shop and was first told it was because I bought used glass, then I was told it was set toolow and the tech adjusted it up. On my drive home it leaked still, slower leak but still a leak. I called the Honolulu branch looking for answers and was told to bring my car in. I dried my car for the weekend in a garage with blowers and fans, my leather seat is ruined on the drivers side and the car smells like moisture. I took my car to the appointment this morning in Honolulu and Im now being told that the track is cracked causing the leak but this is nothing they would have touched. I tried explaining there was never an issue prior to them installing the glass but I'm beng told basically too bad this is my issue and there is nothing that can be done about it. read more

Luckily we found this place and they were able get us an appointment to fix my car windows on Friday, they had my windows readily available. We taped up part of the windows just to keep it together, till the appointment. I thought it would take at least a day or more than 4 hours to fix but they got it done within 2 hours! I called around 11:00 AM and spoke to Karen, she was so sweet and very informative. I had a small chip in my windshield that was about the size of a quarter, Karen informed me it would be about $70 and I didn't have to replace my entire windshield. I was able to schedule a same day appointment for 1:00 PM. It was very easy to find and they have their own small parking lot. I walked in and was greeted by Beau, he was very nice and welcoming. I showed him my car and gave him my keys, he then walked me to the waiting room and in about 30 minutes he was done. He showed me my fixed windshield and explained to me the process of what he did. I had my Evoque in for repair and they broke my windshield so I had to wait a week to replace it. I wouldn't have written this poor review except recently I saw a roach come out of the dash. They had left my front windows open and not covered the front windshield area left exposed for a week. Also they left oily parts on the front leather seats. Also no hood cover to protect from scratches. They should treat these cars like its their own and really use common sense. Update: Thanks Calvin for your response.
