They had someone come in the afternoon the same day. They gave a time frame on when the guy was going to come and even called beforehand to let me know that he was on the way. The person that came was very friendly and got the job done quick--I think it was less than an hour. My window looks good and works great! It's very convenient that they can come to your location. It's an additional fee, but not that much and it's worth it. I would definitely go back to them.

I originally chose this company for the lifetime guarantee and quality of these windows. We do love the windows for the past 9 years. Great at blocking out sound and maintaining air conditioning temperatures. It was news to me that the company changed ownership. I asked Yelp for a recommendation and Oahu Windows and Doors contacted me very quickly. They said they would send Nick, "our repair guy," out to take a look and give me an estimate on a repair. Nick arrived exactly at the appointed time, took a quick look (and listen) at my door and diagnosed the problem in a minute or two. Then, since the problem was a seal on the door, asked me if I simply wanted him to remove the seal to stop the sound, and gave me the pros and cons of doing so. I said yes and he removed the seal and put things back together. He gave me some tips on what to use to lubricate the door, as well as--if I ever wanted to replace the door--what I should look for and how to save money. Nick was knowledgeable, personable and effective in solving my problem. I highly recommend Oahu Windows and Doors.

I know they are similar, but they're different enough that I felt I'd rather go with someone who does homes only * Steve was very fast to respond and was able to give me a quote on the spot based on the size and choosing ceramic, versus other companies who insisted they needed to do a field estimate, and another who just gave me standard prices for cars even though I was clearly asking about houses. Steve was able to schedule me an appointment within a week, showed up, had appropriate ladders for our staircase and windows, and he was able to complete everything in under 2 hours. He's very professional, clean, and he made sure to not leave any debris behind. Overall just a great experience! I will definitely use Readyman again in the future if I have further tinting needs.

NEWEST UPDATE: Aloha folks -- i've updated my review as…read morethere has been some progress. Greg reached out to me explaining that based on the video I sent, it appeared that the ceramic coating was working, but not how it should be. He asked if I could bring the vehicle in so that his team could wash it, and verify this in person. We agreed that I would drop my vehicle off on Friday. This will allow for a pickup on Saturday. Upon drop off, his guys, Zane and Kato accepted the vehicle and tested the ceramic. Right away, Zane said that it wasn't reacting correctly. I left my keys with them and was told that the vehicle would be ready for pickup the following day and I would be notified by call or text. Saturday -- Premiere is open until 6pm. Once 5pm came around I was admittedly starting to get a little bit nervous seeing as how I needed my car for work on Monday, and I knew they were closed on Sunday. I attempted to call and received no response. Living closeby, I just decided to head over. I got there about 540pm. Greg was there detailing the interior of a car. He had plenty of vehicles to take care of. He was friendly and apologized for the lack of communication, citing that he was swamped with the influx of vehicles. He explained that my car was "done" but that he, himself, had taken issue with it. When we approached my car, it was clear that work had been done. But upon closer inspection, there were water spots on my glass and streak marks on areas, exacerbated by the light from his cell phone flashlight. He was able to quickly wipe some of them off. He again apologized and said that he didn't like the work that was done and asked if he could keep my vehicle until Tuesday so that it could be completely redone. This I respect. Alot. For a boss to take ownership of their work and the work of their employees goes a long way. I left it -- picked it up on Tuesday. The car looks fantastic. Here's to waiting it out and see if the ceramic holds this time around. Very glad that I chose the boys at Premiere. Will update in a week :) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Aloha all! Second time using the boys at Premiere Island Auto Detail. They did an amazing job on my camaro, that I felt it only right to use them for our SUV. My last interactions with Greg (the owner) and his team were nothing short of amazing. He is a personably guy. I reached out to them asking for an interior and exterior detail on my 2023 Mazda CX50. After some back and forth on the services, I ended up changing my service to a "basic" ceramic coating (which includes an exterior detail to prep it) and full interior detail. The price was amazing. Greg takes care of his customers. I wont mention it here as pricing can always change. As a reminder to anyone reading this -- its always a nice gesture to tip them, though, not required. Greg was able to take my car pretty quickly. I made the appointment for a drop off on Saturday. For those of you that don't know, ceramic coatings require a curing time, and therefore, I needed to leave my vehicle overnight. The garage is secure and under surveillance. It is easily accessible in the downtown area. I came back the next morning to pickup my car. It looked stellar! The lighting really makes the cars pop too. The exterior looked brand new (minus water spots that apparently weren't able to be removed from the 3m decals). The interior also looked great. I had some minor pet fur still embedded, but nothing to harp about. I noticed that the trunk space wasn't addressed though. No biggie. Now the reason for my decrease in rating: I want to start off by reiterating that Greg and his team are excellent dudes to work with. They are friendly, fast, and do good work. My Mazda, this time around, just isn't what I expected from them. I haven't been able to get back for the car wash because the weather has been awful -- so its been a little bit of time since the coating. There are some spots where the ceramic is noticeable. Particularly under the side mirrors, you can see the coating is still there and streaked on. The new formula that they used on this "basic" coating, definitely shows a difference. Maybe this coating only included one pass over, i'm not sure, but the beading effect just isn't there. Dirt and grime still clings to the car and it doesn't wash off with water. The roof doesnt appear to have been coated, but I could be wrong. The wheels were not coated. I am unsure if the glass was coated. The trim appears to have been coated but not wiped off properly. Anyway, do I recommend them? Absolutely. I still think they do good work at a great price. However, I would strongly encourage you to ask about their options for ceramic coating and not get a lesser package. Mahalo Premiere

Wiki Auto Glass is the BEST! (JUST LOOK AT ALL THE 5 STAR RATINGS) They provide exceptional quality service at a great value. I called on May 7, 2012 to get a quote to replace my cracked windshied. My phone call was answered right away and the person on the phone was very pleasant. He gave me a competitive price quote for the glass replacement service and I was able to schedule the service for the SAME DAY. I was just so happy with this experience even before the service. I had called 3 other shops and one mobile glass service prior to Wiki Auto Glass and NONE of them could even compete with the price that Wiki Auto Glass quoted me. My windshield was replaced by Vince, who is the general manager. He arrived promptly and called me by phone to let me know that he was here. He was very friendly and explained the whole process. I could tell that he has a wealth of knowledge about automobiles, so you can rest assured that these guys KNOW what they are doing. He completely answered all of the questions I had for him. I was having an extremely stressful week with things not going well at school, work, and then my driver's side window got completely shattered by who knows what. I had called another auto glass repair shop first and they told to come down later that afternoon. Then I saw Wiki Auto Glass here, and gave them a call from work. I asked if they had my window in stock and within 5 min. he gave me a call back saying they had it in stock and could do the job that day for the same price the shop would have done it - AND he would come to the car! It was great. I didn't have to shuffle my schedule around to take the car down to a shop, he got it done in about an hour at a very reasonable price, and the work is great. I ran across this locally owned company who is really professional. I thought it was a franchise outfit. My father brought his vehicle to Richard's Auto Glass to have his windshield replace. During the…read moreinitial phone call to the owner, Robin Shibasaki to get a quote, there was clear evidence that this guy is a shady person. My father being a nice guy, he gave this shop the benefit of the doubt because the shop is close to his house and he wanted to support small businesses. My father brought his vehicle in to Richard's Auto Glass to have it repair and everything seem fine when he picked it up. The next day there were some moderate rain and there was a fair amount of water seeping through the cabin. After inspection, it was clear that the water was coming though the windshield area. Before the windshield was replaced, my father's vehicle never had water problems. My father contacted Richard's Auto Glass to raise his concerns about the improper sealing of the windshield. Mr. Shibasaki told my father, hesitantly, to bring the vehicle in again to get it inspected and repaired as needed. My father brought in the vehicle as agreed. When he picked up the vehicle, he noticed that the plastic trim by the windshield wiper was cracked and there was half-ass silicon spread around the windshield to "sealed" it. My father was very unhappy about this and raise his concerns to Mr. Shibasaki. Mr. Shibasaki said he will order the replacement plastic trim and redo the seal at later time. My father inquired to Mr. Shibasaki numerous time about when the replacement parts will be ready. However Mr. Shibasaki gave him the run around, saying the parts have not arrive yet. This is over a span of a few months. At this point, it was obvious Mr. Shibasaki haven't purchase the replacement part and just trying dodge my father. This guy is a joke! In the mean time, water is still seeping into the cabin when it rains. Part of the chassis around the windshield now show sign of rusting. My father now uses tape to temporary seal the windshield. We are now going to small claims court because my father is very upset over the matter. By all means, do not take your vehicle to Richard's Auto Glass; even if he pays you to do it. This whole situation is a nightmare for both my father and I. I was helping my father out because he doesn't speak English well. I don't understand how this business can stay a float. They do half-ass repair jobs, damaged other parts of your vehicles and lie to their customers. Mr Shibasiki is possibly the worst person in the world to deal with. He's very confrontational, conniving and a fat liar. I would give this business negative 5 stars if yelp allows it. I am not being a hater. Look at the other reviews about this business. STAY AWAY!!!!
