I just had a great experience with Gregg that was so good I was inspired to write my first review here. I brought my 2011 WRX in to get my windows tinted last Thursday. Gregg took me around, showed me all my different options and let me sit in a few cars to get a feel for what various tints look from the inside. I decided to go with the 30% ceramic film to stay legal. I had spent some time calling around to a whole bunch of reputable tint shops in the area, and Gregg was able to give me the best price of anyone in the area for the particular film I wanted. THEN he offered to do it same day... a spot had opened up and he knew I was antsy to get it done. Not only that, but he even drove me to the nearest bus stop so I could go home while he did the work. Gregg and his guys are hard workers, and obviously love what they do - I showed up at 8PM that night to pick my car up, and they were all still there working their butts off. They even washed & waxed my car while they were at it. Squeaky clean car + new tint = happy camper. You can find cheaper shops out there, but these guys use high quality materials and know what they're doing. In my mind, worth every penny. read more

Took my Caddy in for a "clear bra" (I think they call it clear paint protection) and some wax. Gregg gave me a small tour of their place and showed me how they apply the bra. It was nice to go "behind the scene" to see the magic in person. He even sent me a text message telling when my car would be ready AND included a picture to show off the STELLAR work! Dropping it off and picking it up INSIDE the service drive at the Caddy dealer was a HUGE PLUS! Got the front two windows of my SUV tinted with these guys in 2011 and someone recently smashed my passenger window so I had to replace the window and tint. Called Accutint on a Friday evening and they fitted me in the very next day at noon. Because my insurance company was only reimbursing me for a certain amount for the fix, Greg gave me a discount on the tint job. If that wasn't enough, they washed my car and even polished my rims and dressed the tires! Keep in mind, this is on a discounted, one-window tint job. You won't find this kind of service anywhere. Andrew is amazing, great customer service and it shows he strives to do the job in the best way possible. When he described how he researched removing my fog light trim before painting them I knew I had gone to the right place. I can tell a lot of thought goes behind what the finished product will be instead of what is the easiest way to get it done. Gregg is awesome too, always kept me in the loop. They are genuinely interested in your vehicle and what you have to say rather than the giving off a feeling you are just another customer that i've experienced elsewhere. The quality of their work knocked my socks off. It really turned out better than I had envisioned. I had my tail lights tinted, some door cup protection installed and the chrome around my fog lights blacked out. On top of all that their prices are extremely reasonable. I already have some more plans for my truck and have tried out several places near me with less than stellar work and overall feeling. I had these few things done to "try out" Accutint NW and needless to say the search is over. I will be back soon. These guys did a (pretty much full) clear bra on my BMW M6 a year back. They worked with step by step and used two different clear bras (VentureShield and 3M) and explained to me the differences and pros and cons of each, where they would be best suited for application etc. Furthermore, they did a ton of custom clear bra wrap for parts of the car that didn't have a plotter like the side fenders, taking great care to protect the logos etc. The attention to detail was insane and the quality outstanding. If i could give this place 6 stars i would! Not only do they (Gregg and his team) do the best job ever, but the customer service provided was BEYOND stellar. I ran my car into a ditch during a snowy evening, and my car was sitting in water overnight. It smelled like a raccoon died inside! Other local detailing businesses immediately began quoting me ridiculous price ranges. But then i remembered that i brought my other car to Accutint years ago, and there was a really nice guy that worked there! I decided to call, I spoke with Gregg, I was panicked thinking that i would not be able to afford the prices being a full time college student! and he reassured me that he takes care of all his customers and that I was in good hands! His prices was affordable, and he even called me to come check out my car while it was torn apart just to see what it looked like! I also had the pleasure of working with Curtis his employee who knew exactly what he was doing and was courteous !!! Overall, they detailed my car, restored it back to better than new and even topped it off with an Ozone treatment! I fell in love with my car all over again! Thanks to Gregg, the rain-soaked interior of my Subaru Forester was saved! Really. No exaggeration! I loaned the car to young relatives. On THE one rainy night of their visit, they left the sunroof wide open overnight. They closed it up the next morning, which turned out to be quite warm sunny. By the time I got the car back, the leather seats and the floors were soaking wet. The car had been incubating all kinds of who-knows-what for a day and a half. Accutint did am amazing job of detailing my car. My poor sick dog had a poop catastrophe in it. It was beyond horrible. I had to put plastic bags over the driver's seat to get the car to the detailer. Front seat and back, side panels, floor, dash, you name it. Just awful. Not only were Greg and the staff at Accutint on Aurora complete gentlemen -- no one grimaced or held their nose and they were polite and good humored -- but 4 hours and $200 later, you would never know what had happened in this vehicle. My car is just spotless. They blew the nasty stuff out of crevasses with an air gun, steam-cleaned the upholstery with deodorizing stuff and polished every inch of my car. No smell, no trace. I bought my car from Doug's NW Cadillac and then I was able to have Greg at Accutint NW install the Expel paint chip guard (with a 10 year warranty) as well as tint my windows (life time warranty) to the legal limit yesterday!! They have a SUPER duper great warranty and if you have any issues Greg is right there to address any concerns, my car looks like it came from the factory with the installations he did for me!!! You will not find a better tint shop in Seattle. Period I took my 1998 Dodge Ram to Gregg for tint work. Gregg spent about a half an hour and personally evaluated my existing glass, then made recommendations for which film would look best based on the condition of the glass. I knew when I left his shop that evening that this was where I was taking my truck... AccutintNW carries a good selection of films (a good sign), is VERY detail oriented (essential in the tint business) and has great customer service. I personally watched Artis (his tint guy) prep the windows and apply the film. I also stuck around for the free "car wash" (which is actually more like having the exterior detailed - the way his crew of 2 (two) did it). I can tell you that the wash area is no where near anything abrasive, and no one was "frantically working" on my truck. Gregg and crew knows their glass from page 8, bar none. read more

I would never recommend Accutint to anybody, This place is so bad and they treat customers very bad too. They look nice at first then everything going to change. I took my car and I didn't get the service I was expecting to get from them and my car paint got scratched. beside those guys are not professional enough after all what happened with me which Gregg now will come up with his own story, which is his right to say whatever he wants but at least I am advising people here not to go there. read more

Had my legacy gt interior detailed the other day. Greg is an awesome owner and his staff are professionals at what they do. I had my tint done there and when the film was wearing out I brought my receipt and they replaced it for free as advertised. No questions asked. I have had constant appraisal about the work that these guys have done and their reputation speaks for itself. The detail shop is located at the cadillac dealership in Shoreline, which is one of the top caddy dealerships in the NW. As soon as I got my car back I was satisfied, but to top it off Greg detailed the outside of my vehicle for free! I had a couple scratch marks on my rear bumper and they buffered it out and made the scratches barely noticeable. I love the fact that the employees treat my car as theirs and the fact that these people go the extra mile to put a smile on my face is a 5 star shop. Gregg and Accutint are AMAZING! I had a weird smell in my car that I didn't recognize and couldn't find the source of it. I tried cleaning it myself, using sprays and odor eliminators and nothing was working. I found Accutint on Yelp and was able to get my car in to get checked soon there after. Gregg is welcoming, nice, very experienced, and was able to find that there was water under my trunk and back seat! I was able to get my car in a day later and when I picked it up it was incredibly clean and the smell (and all of the water) was gone!
