The girl behind the counter was very young and was light skin maybe Meloto or Spanish. She had black very curly hair just above her shoulder. I am only giving this info, to ID her only. I left the wrong tv with her at the counter and told her I was going to find the right tv and size and bring it back to do the exchange. I found the Samsung 55-inch tv and brought it back to the counter. This is when she asked where I bought the tv and if it was opened and used. The tv was in the shipping box and I had a return slip that Best Buy supplied me with and the tv was not taken out of the shipping box. I'm black and I believe these questions were not warranted and rude and disrespectful. She opened the box and plugged it in and she started acting very strange. I do not know why she was working at Best Buy because she seemed very stupid and unprofessional. Then she tried to sell me a credit card and to get extra protection on the tv and she asked me if I bought the tv from Best Buy or someone else. This was a disturbing experience, and I had to tell her that I was a Prime Customer and didn't need extra protection and i didn't need a credit card. I was soo upset by this transaction that I lost my M&T bank card and couldn't contact Best Buy by phone because they seem to no phones in the store for reasons like this. I am very unhappy with Best Buy and will start to take my cash and business to their competors.

They have so many appliances here, from coffee makers and blenders, to every single larger kitchen appliance, TVs, mattresses, even outdoor equipment such as grills. Dwight was very patient in showing a variety of washing machines that are similar to the one that needed replacing. We found an excellent one by Whrilpool. We agreed on a time and day their team would deliver the washer. Sure enough it was delivered as promised. They also hooked it up. The delivery was free. If you would like for them to dispose of an older, large appliance they can do that for you. I have been genuinely impressed with the selection at P.C. Richard & Son, their all around customer service and their product.

Where PC Richard & Son falls short is their delivery crew. For the last 15 years I've purchased big and small appliances here from Mike. Nearly 3 years later I've not received any update whatsoever about when it would be completed. It's been 2 years since my first follow up inquiry wherin I politely asked him for an update, adding that I understood he may have been backlogged and/or had other issues. We all have our priorities. But I never heard back from him with an explanation of any kind. I don't know it'll ever get done at this point. In the meantime I've lost interest in my cassettes. They're just sitting there while streaming music has become a better option. It's certainly more reliable, and my nostalgic feelings regarding my history with cassettes has faded as I no longer have my Nak. Who has taken away my enthusiasm for the format? I needed a bathroom, and the gentleman was nice enough to point out the clean, good-smelling public bathroom in the rear of the store. Staples carries just about anything you would need for working in an office, setting up an office, or doing anything else that requires office supplies. Briefcases, printers, notebooks, desks....they've got it. They've honestly got a huge variety of things in one building. So, I'm checking out, and I witness the cashier maintain the most cheerful, pleasant demeanor while dealing with who was apparently the most important man in the universe. Never looking up from his smartphone, he complained about one thing after another. He couldn't even offer a grunt in reply to her "have a good night." Still, she was smiling the whole time. If your customer service representatives can act that nice while dealing with horrible people, you should start handing out raises. I noticed a sign from the Hartford Advocate proclaiming that this store was the best of Hartford for office supplies in 2011. I can see that. I definitely recommend this location for all your office supply needs.
