A truly useless service and company. Don't provide anything other than checking off a list of boxes for a potential homeowner. They can tell you the water has enough pressure or that you should install a hook on the stove so that it doesn't tip over. They don't actually do anything that helps protect a buyer. They do not look for real issues that cause problems. The inspector failed to find a plumbing issue in the basement of a home just purchased that is a $12k expense. Seriously waste of time and money, get anyone with construction knowledge out to your home, not these guys. The list of CYAs at the bottom of the inspection report cover them from any liability from being totally crap. read more

PROS: convenient scheduling, punctual, qualified inspector, thorough, professional, and available for further comments and questions. CONS: we had problems viewing their PDF report on our iOS devices versus the printed version (a completely fixable issue), and unfortunately, they don't take pictures of their inspections (or specifically, the deficiencies in the property). the old adage that "pictures are worth 1000 words" is apropos, and pictures are vital in this day and age particularly considering the convenience of mobile phones equipped with high-res cameras. in their defense, the inspector went back out to the property free of charge and took pictures of all the deficiencies in the property. their price is comparable with other property inspectors, but my realtor tells me that most inspectors include pictures with their reports (or certainly the ones she normally uses). i would love to give a higher review, and will gladly update this review if i hear that they begin including pictures with their property inspections. i highly recommend their services so long as buyer is aware and asks for pictures before the inspection. read more

The experience that I have had with this company can be described as abysmal at best! The inspector that came out missed several crucial things; gas leak out of the kitchen, water leak behind the shower, full "hidden" room, flooring issues, and yard issues to name just a few. These mistakes were not discovered until I personally found them. This lack of information cost me thousands. When presented with this information, Accurate Inspections took weeks to respond to me, and then told me off. I simply asked for a refund and a new inspector to be sent out. I was completely ignored. Accurate Inspections is a laughable name for this company! I could forgive them if they at all worked to admit or rectify the issues, but they have not. Please do not use this company if you value your wallet!!!! read more

I would not use them or any home inspector. First of all, I think they work for the realtor, not the potential buyer. The seller's didn't disclose existing issues with the house. Outright LIED. If the inspector gives passing marks, the realtor will use them again. If they don't, realtor will use someone else. He said using an extension cord was acceptable, on more than one occasion. It is never ok to use an extension cord unless it's temporary. A small portion of the roof, right where he went up and inspected, had never had any shingles and the home was 10 years old and leaked. Several thousand to repair. No recourse for their not being honest with you. Save your money. read more

Love the new digital reports! Have found many potential problems for my clients over the years that we were then able to deal with before they purchased the home. I also think they do a nice job of managing expectations. When you purchase a home, it should be with the expectation that you will spend money to maintain it. It is nice to have some idea what items may be coming soon. read more
