He was also going to paint the frame when he brought the new screen. He said it should arrive by the end of the week. Over the last 6 weeks, I have called and left messages, most of which were ignored. When I finally talked to the salesman after 3 1/2 weeks, he said it would be in the next week and he'd call. When I hadn't heard from him a week after that date, he said he'd check on it and get "right back" to me. Again nothing and again he didn't return my message the next day. Luckily, I hadn't paid anything and have since found a screen online. I don't know if this is now typical of YB&D customer service. They converted my fireplace from wood-burning to gas several years ago and I was beyond pleased with their service. I'm disappointed and bewildered as to why the negative service now.

I held back per Paul's request just enough to have him come back and finish the job, yet not enough to have someone else fix the installation issues. There is no warranty nor integrity here. I would avoid using him at all costs, and unfortunately he is Rycus Floorings only and #1 guy. I waited quite a while for Heritage to install my shower, which is usually a good sign-but after the damaged tiles needed to be ordered he bailed after weeks of waiting for the new tile to come in. He agreed to pay for the new box of tile, however I am trying to find a tile guy willing to finish and fix someone else's work. Sad part is they were only a day and a half's worth of work from completion and a good review, now it's my headache.

American Flooring was recommended to us by a friend who is a builder as having honest, and knowledgeable staff. We worked with Doug and Jeremy. They even measure your home for free if you want even if you are self installing. Best of all the floor we bought was exactly what we wanted and looks fantastic.

He said yes and said he changed my time to 2 to 4 pm when he had another customer cancel. I told him we would not be ready that early and I could do 3 pm he agreed. The movers called me at 1:48 pm and said they were at my Apt and that the clock starts at 2 pm!!! Keep in mind I am disabled and use an electric wheelchair so I'm not able to just hurry and be ready. I said to the labor men that no, I would not start the clock at 1:48 pm when they weren't even supposed to be here yet and the truck we rented was not back from the rental place yet. The owner then told me he left me a message that they were coming at 2!!! Like I am a business and have to listen to voice mail. I told him he couldn't change the time without my consent. The workers then told me that my time was up and I owed $398.00 because I had to pay them from their place to my home and back The owner never mentioned that to me remember he said $300.00. Then he said if I didn't pay it they would have to call the police for theft of services because it said it in the email they sent. It doesn't say that in the email I will share with you. Then they weren't even finished with the job! So I had to hire them for 30 more mnts at $70.00 more dollars! So they stole my time and were going to make me a criminal for theft of their time!! I should have called the police myself and had them arrested for stealing my time by changing the time without my consent, not informing me of the $98.00 charge for them coming to my house and going back to work AND NOT FINISHING THE JOB, SENDING ME TO JAIL FOR AN OFFENCE THEY WERE COMMITTING, AND NOT INFORMING ME IT WOULD BE $468.00 INSTEAD OF THE QUOTED PRICE OF $300.00. I am on a fixed income and was being EXTORTED BY MR. BIG STUFF CO. Of Grand Ledge. It was the worst experiences I've9o had with hired help. Do not trust them to quote you the right price or to come at the agreed upon time and they will call the police if you don't pay these charges they didn't tell you about. One because one of the labor men said he was sorry about the miscommunication and he hoped I had a safe trip.

Outstanding service from Fred and Sons Hauling!…read more I can't say enough good things about Fred and his crew. I had a huge amount of brush, vines, limbs, tree roots, and overgrown debris along my fence line that needed to be hauled away. I had reached out to several other companies; many took forever just to come give a quote, and others were charging outrageous prices or couldn't schedule the job for weeks. Fred was different. He was responsive, professional, and honest. I called and texted, and he came out the same day to give me a quote--on the spot. He honored that quote, came back the next day, and got everything cleaned up. Fast, efficient, hardworking, and incredibly thorough. They didn't just haul the mess; they cleaned up after themselves and left the space looking great. This is the kind of service that's missing in landscaping and yard work today. I had done all the cutting myself but didn't have the tools, equipment, or truck to haul it away. Fred and Sons Hauling took care of all of it without hassle and at a fair price. If you've got a big mess in your yard and need it gone, don't wait: Call Fred. Fast, fair, and fantastic. Highly recommend!
