The only hard wired zone is my office. This is such shoddy workmanship. And to get this I had to coach the tech to make his connections through the junction box and not outside. He was going to drill holes in my wall when the house is already prewired for internet. It would have taken the tech an extra 5 minutes to do the job right. Dont believe the hype. Ezee is depending on outsourced techs who have 0 incentive to do an excellent job. All they jave to show is that the wifi signal gets to their provided router. I have been using Comcast Xfinity Internet since 2005 but grew tired of the messages that popped up on my browser window and being double charged for going over the data cap they imposed. I was not able to get any fiber at my location so decided to try StarLink by SpaceX. My StarLink came with a standard ground stand rather than any kind of mount. I looked at the available mounts StarLink offered and was not sure what to order or where to mount it. I called two highly rated places that specialize in StarLink and Satellite Dish Installation in hopes of being able to mount this thing professionally. I wanted it to look good and needed someone who might have more mounting options. Bert Berthelot who is the owner of Cable Busters! called me back in short order. the other place I called twice and never got a return call, so that made things simple. Bert set up a time that worked well for both of us and he came out and mounted my StarLink professionally, ran the wire through my wall to my Modem / Wireless Router and set the whole thing up for me. But at the same time he asked some great questions that made me realize how much more was involved in a home environment (I've done a few dozen wall and ceiling wiring jobs over the years) When Chris and his helper came out, I was impressed with the speed and competence of their work, even while encountering a couple of "surprises" that would have been show-stoppers for other techs not having a couple decades of experience with homes the age of ours. I was also impressed with what I recognized as high quality coax cable, fittings, and RJ45 cables. Finished outlets were aesthetically pleasing and we were given numerous suggestions and alternatives! I don't do social media reviews because old school word-of-mouth is my usual method when people come to me.
