That really stood out. When it turned out a visit was needed, they scheduled me for the very next day and even arrived earlier than expected (after calling to confirm it was okay). Once on site, they diagnosed the problem immediately, showed me exactly what was wrong, and explained everything in clear, simple terms including pricing. On the first cold day this winter he claims the heater is all rusted out in the exchanger and has to be replaced, along with the entire system because a new heater can't work with an old air conditioner. Our neighbor suggested we call their guy. He's been in business for 30 years. Needless to say, the heater was not rusted he showed me the unit was very dirty, the fan motor and wheel were clogged with dirt and there were two dead birds in the chimney. The outside air conditioner was only 10 years old. I'm convinced SK had never done anything other than collect their fee and try to sell stuff we didn't want or need.

We have had continuous problems. We wanted units with warranties but they are as is units with scratched off serial numbers. The units clonk out every other week. No other repair ppl want to help fix the work Khloe Kool has attempted to do. Weve had electrical issues that have cost $3500 to repair. It has been a draining stressful situation. I have old and sick tenants who are in 100 degrees all summer.

Brandon, the owner, came to our home, and they discussed the job. My husband was clear - this is a 5-ton unit, and I want you to install a 5-ton replacement unit. Khloe Kool LLC agreed and submitted a proposal. We accepted the proposal, and he sent a link to pay online. The invoice clearly states this is a 5-ton unit, which model, etc. The unit immediately started having issues including not being properly installed and dripping a bucket of water, being covered in condensation, not cooling the house enough, and never shutting off. He would come out to service the unit each time, making different excuses for each issue. Finally, we decided to get another opinion from a licensed dealer of Coleman by York. That company came out and, within 30 seconds, asked my husband - did you say this is a 5-ton unit. Once he responded yes - they pointed out the labeling on the unit. Khloe Kool installed a 4-ton unit for both parts of the system. And that is why the system constantly had issues. It was NOT the correct size for our home. So the reason it couldn't cool the house and never shut off - it's too small. This also means it's too small to heat the house in the winter. And how did Brandon respond? I looked up your house on google earth and 4-ton is the right size. No Brandon - it's not the right size because you didn't take into account ceiling heights and 2 floors of finished living space. I have zero experience and used an online calculator to determine the size. It's easy - you should try it. Khloe Kool has stopped answering our calls now that we've identified the issue and he can't pretend it's a manufacturer issue and he's so generously coming to help us. He lied, he knew what he installed and he cheated us. Now we have to replace the unit with a 5-ton. It is OUTRAGEOUS. I've been in business for 21 years and would never treat a customer like this. Please do yourself a favor; don't hire him. You'll regret it every day your system tries to turn on and inefficiently heat or cool your home.

They recently started offering Plumbing services and my first experience was so-so. As part of the maintenance plan, you now get a plumbing inspection every year. The plumber who came out today was very nice but missed an issue that I pointed out to him. He did have his Master Plumber that was hiding in the truck (? Seemed odd haha) come take a look. There was some estimate issues leading me to think the installation of a toilet would be $1,000 for labor alone. However, the owner was quick to rectify and look into the issue personally once he became aware, and was very open to feedback on how to make the estimates more clear. I would still like to see them itemize the cost of materials in the future, but it seems to be something at least on his radar. I would give this company a chance if you're having issues. They seem to truly want to do the right thing by the customers and their employees, which is important.
