I have needed Steve's and accessed them through AAA multiple times. I have NEVER been dissatisfied with the service, timely response and/or technician knowledge or care. Most recently I lost my key and the locksmith wanted $500 to help me and I felt him rude and unhelpful.n Fortunately, Gabriel with Steve's rescued me. Gabriel showed up in a VERY timely response time, especially for a holiday! My car and I were transported to my home where I was able to recover my xtra key. I have never been in an accident like this and without even asking he gave me his best knowledge and advice what the best option would be, but also never felt like he was out for money or looking to scam. Our insurance contracted with Wind'n sea towing, and we received a text stating that they would meet us at 3:19 pm. At 3:30 pm, we contacted Wind'n Sea to confirm an ETA. We were advised it would be another hour. At 4:20 pm we received a text saying that the tow truck would meet us at 5:58 pm. At 6:00 pm I again contacted Wind'n Sea towing and was told it would be another hour. At that point I called another tow service and paid out of pocket. Within 20 minutes the truck had arrived and had my daughter's car hooked up and headed home. At 7:20 pm we received another text from Wind'n Sea towing advising it would be another hour!!!! I texted them to advise we had already canceled the request with our insurance carrier an hour previously.

I brought in my 2009 Sienna for repairs, and the team quickly diagnosed several issues. They quoted me over $3,000 to fix everything and offered a discount, which I accepted. The repairs were completed, and they provided a 3-month warranty. However, I noticed the van still wasn't running properly, so I brought it back. They diagnosed additional issues with the shocks, brakes, and a leak in the power steering system. I paid another $700+ to have those fixed. About a week later, the van started making a horrible noise. When I called to bring it back in, Dayan informed me they had moved to Huntington Beach and were no longer operating in Menifee. Unfortunately, the distance made it impractical to drive the van there given its condition. I then took the van to a Toyota dealership for a full diagnostic. They informed me that many of the issues H2D Motors had supposedly fixed still needed repair. Unfortunately, I was just outside the 3-month warranty period by one week. I didn't proceed with repairs at Toyota due to the high cost, so I went to another mechanic who charged me $1,100 to fix everything. They discovered that a part related to the shocks had not been installed correctly or tightened properly, which caused the noise and damage to the new tires I had installed just a month earlier. It turned out to be a wheel bearing issue. After those repairs, the van finally ran as it should--no noise, no issues. While Dayan was great to work with, the overall experience was a major disappointment. I wouldn't recommend this shop based on the problems I encountered.

When I went to get it smogged per the DMVs request, they ended up sending me home with an issue to get fixed before my truck would pass smog. I saw that H2D Motors didn't have many reviews but the ones they did have were all 5 star so I was hoping to reach out and hopefully get this fixed quickly. They went above and beyond my high expectations and told me right away they value my business and that their mechanical engineer could squeeze me in to fix it right away (keep in mind this was at 4pm and they were only going to be open until 5. They even stayed a little after just to make sure I didn't have to come back for my vehicle. They also had two lounge areas.
