The strike plate had to be adjusted for the lock to even close! I put up with it for a year, probably going through miles of weatherstripping. After an unsatisfactory experience with a different repairman, I contacted Bill and Horton Remodeling Services. He was very thorough in the initial call with explaining fee breakdowns, the likely cost, and listened to what I needed and even what I hoped to pay. Even though I paid more, it was worth it. I got what I paid for, as the saying goes. The door was done beautifully, and they cleaned up perfectly after the job was finished. They had to remove and replace a security door as well, so it wasn't a simple job! I was kept informed of the job progress with texts, and emails. * This would be a five star review, but the door had a long scratch from the top almost to the doorknob when installed (the install was done while I was at work and unable to see/view the door). When I contacted them, they didn't offer any type of money off, and told me that was how they received the door from the company. Then they offered to quote me a price to paint the door to cover the scratch. I feel that contacting me when they picked up a scratched door to see if I was okay with it would have been better, and then perhaps negotiating a bit lower price for a damaged door instead of waiting for me to notice the damage and ask about it. I was disappointed about that part of the job and interaction. **** UPDATED REVIEW: Bill contacted me and worked out a repair on the door. He was very kind and understanding about it. I appreciated his willingness to do so, and I would not hesitate to recommend or use this company again in the future. They do excellent work, and Bill is great at communicating on costs, and concerns.

I reluctantly started a kitchen remodel because it felt so overwhelming on where to start, but I…read moredid so because my wife had been asking me for a new kitchen for a couple of years now. From the first conversation with Rick Chao about my budget, my concerns and my wife's wish list, I felt more at ease. Rick went over our options with us, the various features and quality and helped my wife and I agree on a kitchen that we would both be happy with. I really appreciated the level of professionalism that Rick brought to the table, there were no surprise cost, the installation was impeccable and even though the install was completed 1 day late, Rick was proactive and contacted me prior to the deadline to let me know there was an issue with a delivery hence the delay. Rick is going to be my go-to cabinet guy for Arizona!

Right Choice was recommended by my builder. Unbeknown to me as to why, besides prior experience…read more Now granted, Rick Chao himself, installed my cabinets and for the majority of the work he addressed most of my concerns. However, I wish he would have designed our cabinets. Upon taking delivery and initial install, the builder specifically spelled out on the floor the appropriate dimensions for the bathroom vanities and ended up being oversized and had to remove and receive some sort of credit (still wondering how my handles supposedly offset that), but my primary gripe with this whole endeavor is that I feel my cabinets were unfinished. Excuse I received was that the proposal they put together was for a 2cm countertop (which they did not receive the bid) and I ended up going with a 3 cm countertop and they said that because the cabinets were designed with a 2 cm that the plywood ended up not being finished due to raising the countertop. Now, in my entire experience of constructing a new home; it is evident to me that there is no accountability for any of the subcontractors I've dealt with. Hence, I'm struggling to recommend these folks yet I'll still give them a decent review because they appropriately know how to charge and not back up the 'white glove' delivery per their bid. Rick is an awesome guy; but felt like he was trying to convince me to not patch the exposed OSB to not make it look like it was a cabinet issue but more of a countertop issue. So buyer beware of their lack of accountability. It was proposed that I should quote a stainless steel finish to make it look the countertop guys screwed up.

This is the worst return process I have ever experienced. I purchased four barstools online and I…read moreput one of them together so we could see how it looks in our home. My wife did not like it. When I called to make the return, I was told I had three options. One option was to pay for the four separate shipping labels I needed to get at a cost of $248.14. despite the total of all four barstools was $623. The second option was that I can make one return per month as a member and since I wasn't a member, I could only do that if I became a member. The person on the phone said it's free to make the return but I had to pay $19.95 Plus tax to become a member in order to make that "free shipment". And I could only get store credit . The third option was that I could go to any carrier I wanted and pay for them to ship it back. None of these options allowed me to take it to any store as I was told there are no longer any stores. That was false. I also had to disassemble the one barstool that I had assembled, and I needed to make sure they were all wrapped up and placed back in the box in the manner in which I received it! That alone is a very special talent. Given that this is Presidents' Day weekend, and I wanted to take advantage of the sales that we're going on, they could not expedite anything such that if I wanted to use the store credit to now purchase a different set of barstools, the timing of their process would not make that happen. And we noted that the same barstools we looked at went up $50 per barstool from the pricing. It was the other day. The return process was that once they received the boxes in hand, they would take up to five days to review and determine if everything was satisfactory and then if it was satisfactory, it would be another 24 to 48 hours to actually get any credit. Basically we would miss the window of the sale. On the phone I was told that if they could see that the item was scanned, they would give me the credit early so that I could use the Sale pricing but then in my follow up on the email after having shipped the items back that was reversed. This is absolutely the worst return experience I have ever experienced in all my years of purchases in store and online. ! If there was a way to give zero stars I would. These people are absolute crooks !
