Adam was so incredibly helpful, I wish I could do justice in my review…read more He will come to your house, he is knowledgeable and accessible to talk with, his rates are UNBELIEVABLE. As in, I think he should raise them, because he does an above-and-beyond job and is charging far, far less than the standard. He was able to recover my data from my netbook that I had dumped water on. The motherboard was fried, but he was able to get my data off, sold me the flash drive he purchased to transfer my data at cost, and my bill was 15% of what Best Buy would have charged. When he dropped off my computer when he was done, he still took extra time with me to install a few programs on my new computer. A+ for technical help, customer service, price, and convenience.

When she pulled out her computer to work the very first day, it wouldn't start up. Some strange flashing lights, then nothing. Not good. We called a place nearby with good reviews, but they weren't receptive. Called The Computer Doctor - he said he worked on my wife's kind of machine all the time (Lenovo ThinkPad) and would be happy to take a look - he'd be in his shop in an hour. They met and he quickly sorted out there was a screw loose (many jokes ensued). He put the screw back in place, buttoned things up, and she was out of there in under an hour. And for a very reasonable cost. Thanks!

Thru Yelp I received a few automated quotes thru AI. Shortly thereafter got a text from Dave at…read moreTechNOLAgy. It was half of what The Computer Geeks quoted. Upon asking for his location, it was 5 minutes from my office. I set up a time to drop off my laptop and he offered to do a house call. I really appreciated that but was glad to take a break from my busy desk. I'm kinda electronically challenged and created a horrible virus trying to download an app. Once he got to work on my computer he contacted me to ask if I wanted some programs I didn't even know what they were. When I picked it up the following day he said he performed some upgrades as well. WOW, it works like a dream, and so much faster. And I must say, he was quite pleasant and understanding of my lack of knowledge. I RECOMMEND TECHNOLAGY TO EVERYONE IN NEED OF ELECTRONIC ASSISTANCE !

On a recent trip en route to one of my mostest favoritest cities in the whole wide world, i…read morerealized i had left my laptop charger in Bill's lab...double drat!!! My bleary, jetlagged morning was spent combing the yelp rolls looking for a computer repair guy, which from my general experience in the OTHER LA, is my guess of how you might track down an inexpensive 'gently used' power cord. alas, after an hour or so of ringy dingies, I got through to Dave at TechNOLAgy Solutions. He confirmed he had the right charger in his arsenal of power cords, so we agreed to meet near his office. still reeling from my red-eye, i eventually got it together and up on out of my hotel. Dave was patient during the drawn out series of texts and phone calls leading up to my delayed arrival. indeed, we met up and made the exchange. It was a lifesaver to get the power cord, which saved me both money and time trying to track one down at an overpriced retail location. and now i have a backup charger. plus i gained a new acquaintance. Dave's a cool guy who relocated from New York a few years back. considering our interaction was brief and basic and didn't involve any computer repair/IT services, i can't say for sure if Dave's a true computer superstar, but my gut tells me you won't be disappointed. DONE!
