I sent my PS5 to get checked out because I thought I had a bad HDMI, turns out i had a bad icu chip that the wisp workers found and got it fixed in only a couple hours which is WAAAYY faster than I was expecting.Yea it costed a little more but it saved me money because I thought I had to buy a whole new PS5. I went to the Mac store with a bricked MacBook Pro and they told me all they could do was send it back to Apple for refurbishment. It would have cost me $800. I took it to Wisp with low expectations, and these guys came out as HEROES. One of the owners put it on a high powered charger and I waited. He had me booted back up in less than 15 minutes. My son's iPad was only physically broken on the screen, no other problems whatsoever. We went here to go get it fixed. It was $130 to replace the screen and we got a call that the home button *now* doesn't work and it'll be an extra $80 to fix it. I just think it's very suspicious that the home button no longer works as soon as we brought it in and WE would have to pay for it to be fixed. Kind of disappointed as my family and I have been here over the years to get other screens fixed. Who knows what other extra charges they tried to get by and from other customers. Be cautious and have your device documented via video of every single feature working or not before bringing it to this place. We won't be giving them our business anymore, sadly. read more

Decent customer service, but lacking quality. If you're looking for a new iPhone screen I'd suggest skipping the perceived convenience of coming to Wisp and instead going straight to the Apple store. My first phone screen replacement was not only operationally defective but the poor quality was also visibly noticeable, especially when placed next to an iPhone with an original screen. Fortunately they honored their warranty program and replaced it. Unfortunately, my new screen has a physical defect in it, but it still seems to function as normal, and for the sake of not having to make yet another trip to the store I decided to stick this one out. Additionally the new screen appears to scratch almost as easily as a cheap screen protector. Lastly, the Wisp screen repair cost $300, which is $21 MORE than Apple would have charged. In retrospect I wish I would have waited it out and endured the drive to get a more reliable and better quality screen replacement. read more

I journeyed over to the facility, which is located in the FOUNTAIN PARK CENTRE on Manhattan, to have my screen replaced. While they do offer the service I need, screen replacement, and at a nominal fee, because I am a CUSTOMIZED CUTIE PIE, I wanted a specific colored screen, my needs couldn't be met (PLEASE NOTE: all me, not them). I was however able to have my battery replaced in a very short period of time. They offer warranties on all their work, which is a definite plus!!!!! I plan to return, ughhhh, IF THE NEED ARISES. I came for a phone screen change and they changed it within 1 hrs which was great however they did old me that my battery was expanding and that it would touch my screen. I opted to let them change it and when I got my phone back I charged it and found it to still be hot to the touch and not only that but still lose battery fast. The quality of my screen replacement isn't greater either because occasionally it won't type what I want it to. For the value it isn't worth it I would give it a 0/5 if I could. read more

This place is a rip-off. I brought my laptop there to be fixed and was told after they took it apart that it couldn't be fixed and they couldn't put it back in its original state. So my laptop that worked now doesn't. My battery had an issue and they had to take it out that I understand, my screen had a crack on it and they said it was too replace. That was fine except they didn't replace the laptop to its original state even if I just had to buy a battery I would have understood but no they took it apart and couldn't put it back and then said they could help me find one for the price they were gonna use to fix it. They did not compensate me for the laptop they BROKE and basically said sometimes things can't be fixed and it's no one's fault.They are a Scam please don't waste your time or your money. read more

Time for a review update! Wisp has worked their magic yet again! My laptop (the same one from the last review) was having charging issues again and, sure enough, it needed a new charge port. Also, I had had a cracked screen for well over a year and had them fix that as well, just as long as they were going to be doing things with it. Well, in a day they fixed the port and the screen and my computer is back to work! Yay! They always do such a good job here and I would never bring my computer anywhere else. I use my laptop for my job, so downtime is a "no go" for me. Thankfully, they work fast at Wisp! The staff is friendly, the work is exceptional and the prices are fair. read more

My warranted HP laptop recently crashed and HP told me they would probably not be able to save my files, so I called Wisp before I returned my computer back to HP. No promises were made but they would look and see what could be done. They were able to get all my files, kept me posted by phone daily of their progress and did not charge an arm and leg for all the work they did. I seriously don't think there is a better service out there. Not on the Westbank? Definitely worth it to drive over the bridge for a job well done. I'll be back anytime any my electronic breaks. You know a repair shop is honest when they don't try and sell you false hope. They looked through the guts of my phone and identified several areas where corrosion and water damage made it likely to fail and basically said they wouldn't feel good doing the repair. Thankfully there wasn't one available for a few days do I did some searching around and found Wisp whom I went to due to the excellent reviews. My experience was no less than 5 stars. They diagnosed the problem for free, gave me a quote which I approved and fixed it while I waited. I lost so much sleep over this darn phone and I wouldn't have had to worry one bit knowing that there are capable honest folks at Wisp to solve the problem quickly, professionally and at a reasonable cost. I took my laptop to get to an accurate price on how much my screen replacement would cost, got my laptop back with my screen much worse than it was before and cracks on my screen. The staff was very knowledgeable. While i was waiting for my phone, several people dropped off their phones, and had them able to be picked up the same day! Everyone was very happy with their service. Some lady also came in and brought spring rolls for the staff as a thank you for fixing her phone. I needed virus removal done on my laptop as well as good bit of updating (which I couldn't do because of the virus). I brought my computer here based on the previous reviews and I am pretty pleased with my experience. They had everything done within one business day and the staff was as nice as could be (not to mention incredibly helpful). When I picked up my computer they walked me through everything that was done and gave me a few tips on how to keep everything in shape. I mentioned that I was thinking of purchasing a new laptop in the near future and they told me to call them when I was ready and they would help me choose the right laptop for my needs and budget. I really felt like they went above and beyond with the customer service. They were also very friendly with my two year old who insisted on touching everything in the lobby.
