Adam was so incredibly helpful, I wish I could do justice in my review…read more He will come to your house, he is knowledgeable and accessible to talk with, his rates are UNBELIEVABLE. As in, I think he should raise them, because he does an above-and-beyond job and is charging far, far less than the standard. He was able to recover my data from my netbook that I had dumped water on. The motherboard was fried, but he was able to get my data off, sold me the flash drive he purchased to transfer my data at cost, and my bill was 15% of what Best Buy would have charged. When he dropped off my computer when he was done, he still took extra time with me to install a few programs on my new computer. A+ for technical help, customer service, price, and convenience.

My wife and I headed to NOLA for a week long working vacation. (Work during the hot hours of the…read moreday, go out at night to dine and drink and dance to amazing live music, repeat.) When she pulled out her computer to work the very first day, it wouldn't start up. Some strange flashing lights, then nothing. Not good. We called a place nearby with good reviews, but they weren't receptive. Called The Computer Doctor - he said he worked on my wife's kind of machine all the time (Lenovo ThinkPad) and would be happy to take a look - he'd be in his shop in an hour. They met and he quickly sorted out there was a screw loose (many jokes ensued). He put the screw back in place, buttoned things up, and she was out of there in under an hour. And for a very reasonable cost. Thanks!
