I ended up changing the bottom lock as well as the top lock. I wanted a good quality lock. He installed the same lock that he uses at his property. Saving money is not number one when looking for good security. Then I paid him to fix the sliding glass doors. The owner also helped me with hurricane shutters that would not close. He explained that shaking them and moving slowly while holding the upper and lower part of the accordion shutter works best. The prices were reasonable and the value for service received was good. Within minutes I got a call back and ended up texting with Sharon. She was patient and asked questions, and within a short time indicated someone could be at my house in about a half an hour, discussed what was the likely problem (something to do with pins in the mechanism), discussed replacing the component and the cost.
