There is plenty of parking as this restaurant is in the corner of a big shopping strip. We were seated quickly and chips and salsa arrive at our table within 30 seconds. It did take our server about 10 minutes to get to us for our drink orders, however. By that time, we knew what we wanted for our meals and ordered accordingly. The water and soda cups are HUGE. I also ordered the chorizo queso. It was about $4-5 for a small bowl and $12 for a large. Absolutely delicious! But be mindful if you have high blood pressure. The salt is salting! We made it in time for their lunch specials. I was surprised that they have them on the weekends, but sure enough they did! I got the #14 which is a spinach enchilada, a beef taco and a pork tamale. They were all VERY tasty! Our server was polite and friendly. I failed to get her name, however, which is something I like to do. A positive lunch experience and will come back.

Verdes Enchiladas

This is my favorite hometown Mexican restaurant. It's just right down the road from my place. Service is always quick, food is delicious, and I love the decorations inside. I recommend 100%!

Traditional seating with a sexy bar equipped for a good happy hour.

My daughter took me to this place and promised I would not be disappointed...I wasn't! Meatless dishes and they were totally delicious. The portions were more than enough and the prices were reasonable; meal for two under $25 and that included drinks. I would definitely go back!

Pollo Asado

The pollo asado was great. The chicken breast and thigh were tender, and the adobo seasoning was very savory. The dish came with rice, beans, and tortillas (and chips and salsa). Great portions too. This was exactly what I was hoping to get - something that was a little more traditional and authentic than Americanized Mexican food (which I like too, but which you can get anywhere). The price of takeout, $15.95, was just a little bit more than what I would consider superb value, but the quality of the chicken was undeniable.

Spicy burrito

Came here for lunch. Really brought and colorful interior. The menu is extensive. It was tough to decide what to get. I ordered the spicy burrito. It was definitely spicy! Our plates were huge. My burrito came with refried beans and rice. It was all good. My husband really liked his dish as well. You really can't go wrong here. The food and service were both good. Nothing was out of this world good so I wouldn't go out of my way to come here again. However, if you are in the area and want Mexican, I would recommend it.

Chimichanga

I love the drink specials so I came back. I tried a frozen Mojito this time. It was good. I ordered the same meal, Chimichanga, and it was good as well. The waitress was friendly. The food came out fast. No complaints.

I had a great taco salad. Stopped by and got curbside to go. I ordered via the phone they came out and took my payment and then my food is ready in 10 minutes. I ordered a shrimp taco salad with extra salsa. The shrimp was juicy and not over cooked at all the shell was amazing it was the best one I've had in a long time. The service was fast and the food was fresh will definitely try it again when in the area and eating a great meal before heading home. Signed one grateful essential worker.

False advertising

FALSE ADVERTISING AND PRICING! The online menu pricing is incorrect. I ordered food to go twice here a few weeks apart. I went to their website and ordered. When I went to pick up my order they charged me more than the pricing on the menu on line. I asked to speak to the manager Miguel Hueramo but he was not there. I asked if the receptionist who give me his number. She called him and she told me that I could pay the lower price that is online now but to never come back. I only pointed out that their online prices were not correct. The manager Miguel Hueramo refused to speak to me and reacted by asking me to never come back. I told them their online prices are not current and they did not do anything g about it. They are falsely advertising with the wrong prices. It should have been an easy fix and they should be thankful that I pointed out the discrepancy but that is not what happened. Horrible customer service made worse by the manager Miguel Hueramo!

Being downtown, parking is not always the greatest, but it was a lovely evening for walking less than a block to the restaurant. It was a Saturday evening so there was a little wait, but we were able to sit outside and have a drink while we waited. Once inside, the place was dimly lit, really loud with music and very clean. And for having unisex bathrooms, those were surprisingly clean as well. Our waitress was great, I wish I could remember her name... but I do know she was from Cali. We ordered a couple of strawberry margaritas, which were just your basic drink, but still refreshing. Started off with a basket of chips, salsa and fundido. This is considered an appetizer, so no freebies here. The chips were fresh and warm, the salsa had a nice flavor and the fundido was ok according to the kiddo. We had the grilled shrimp tacos with rice and beans. You had to assemble your own tacos tonight, and order rice and beans separately as the taco plate had no sides, but all delicious.... Beans had a nice kick, the shrimp tacos were missing something in my opinion, but not sure what. We also had the best shrimp quesadilla we ever tried. It has overly stuffed and cheesy with wonderful lime cream sauce to go with it. This entree was a huge hit all around and it did come with a side, so no extra charges. To finish off dinner, we all shared the strawberry tres leches and OMG... Absolutely the best we have had in a while. Too bad it's seasonal. Over all, great experience and would definitely g

However, I do feel that if they can get 5-stars for take-out, then their dine-in is surely 5-stars! First of all, they took time and care in packing the take-out. I got a lunch combo and they packed the Taco and the salad separately. I love it!! Secondly, they also included salsa and chips even though it was a take-out order, which I appreciated. Service was quick. I called in my order, showed up about 10 minutes after that, paid, and my order was ready a couple of minutes later. Employees were very nice. Food was good! Still warm when I opened it up 15 minutes after pick up, which tells me they were fresh and hot when packed! Tomato and lettuce in the guacamole salad were very fresh, which isn't always the case at some restaurants. I really liked their chile relleno as it wasn't fried. Really good. In fact, I'm getting warm feelings right now just thinking about my time here. Their vegan option is a nopal taco (tender, marinated cactus). It's excellent, but what makes it next level is that SALSA BAR with the best salsas I've ever had. It reminds me of taquerias in California. I drowned my taco in all of the sauces. In fact, I could probably be happy eating tortillas and salsa here. Because, yes, the tortillas are that delicious. As is that guac. Again, some of the best I've ever had, gimmicky tableside guac included (never felt that was such a great thing anyway). Here, you get a generous portion of the creamiest quality guac you can imagine. I can't report on the margaritas other than to say they look gorgeous. The wine pours are also generous and the prosecco is damn good.

You can add onions, limes, cilantro and pickled onions and pickled jalapeños as well as sauce. They had a Verde sauce as well as regular salsa, and a Salsa Borachja sauce with onion, garlic and Mexican beer. It was spicy and delicious. They have plenty of counter seating, a few tables inside and several tables outside. This is a tapas bar more than a testaurant.

Words are not sufficient enough to describe how my tastebuds were taken on a rollercoaster ride of flavor. My peer ordered the Hawaiian Fajita which was cooked and served and a real pine apple. Both drinks weren't in your face with the tequila mezcal, they were mixed nicely and had a well rounded flavor. I much preferred the Woderful rabbit though as it tasted less watered down and the ginger beer paired with the mezcal was almost quenching. Overall if you're looking for a relaxing spot to enjoy Mexican cocktails this is a good spot! We did feel rushed to get out of there, and maybe it was because we weren't ordering food.
