First they were very communicative and answered all my questions - from the first time I called to just days before my event they were great about keeping up with me. I had one small issue - they charged me the final balance one day earlier than I anticipated but! I spoke with a gentleman on the phone (sorry forgot his name!) and he was incredibly apologetic and offered to immediately reverse the charge; it wasn't necessary but his sincere apology and genuine desire to provide superior customer service was excellent. While I didn't actually ride on the bus I booked - my POC for the bus was VERY pleased - she said, the driver, Guy, was very nice, polite and professional - he said he did a great job at both the pick up and drop off. I would definitely use them again!

We got on the bus after our third stop assuming we were going to the forth reservation, but the driver just started driving us back to our house without saying anything. I asked where we were going, he said the time is up so I'm taking you back- I told him that wasn't right, that I had discussed/emailed the plans with the office. His next response, was well this is what it says on my phone and I have another limo group I have to get to. He dropped us off and sped away. I also asked our driver to give us a heads up when we had about 10 minutes before we needed to leave. He never did this. And in fact when I rounded up our group to go to the second stop he was parked down in the parking area chatting with another driver. I've planned over 20 wine trips around the country, and I've never had a driver do these things. I called the office several times and was told a manager would contact me, of course they never did.

We made it to all of our reservations early. Brad, was very helpful and did a great job dealing with my indecisiveness on which vehicle our group would be taking for the evening. I was also concerned that the driver was frequently distracted by his phone-making calls and texts, as well as scrolling-for much of the drive. It was a very disheartening experience, and I believe it could have been avoided if the driver had been more attentive. Based on this experience, I won't be using South Bend Taxi again. EDIT: I've read the owner's response and would like to clarify a few points. The accident occurred on an empty street around 5:30 AM with no traffic, and I was the one who contacted the police. We resumed our trip after the officer arrived and the police report was completed, as the officer said that an insurance claim couldn't be filed if the driver left prior to completion. I can't say I noticed if the neighborhood was "sketchy" as the response claims, but I'm also not certain I see how it's related to the incident. While I've had several successful rides with this company in the past, I've consistently observed drivers using their phones directly in hand, not via Bluetooth. Regarding reimbursement, I had not been informed of any prior to reading this reply; the owner simply asked me to reach out, and when I called, I received no response. Unfortunately, the company's reply seems to misrepresent the situation at certain points. I'll add a star to my rating because I appreciate the positive experiences I've had previously and can confirm that I've had good customer service in the past, but I remain concerned about the recurring inattentiveness I've witnessed while riding with this company

We had made our guests' welcome bags with the shuttle information prior to the event and we found out the timeline that we had sent to the shuttle company a few weeks prior never was approved by their team. We ended up having to rent an additional shuttle to make our flow of events work. In addition, we had an after party and the bus had no music on it. This just led to a quiet ride and bored us a bit on the ride back to town. Having some tunes would have helped! They did what they had to do the day of and executed just fine.
