I wanted to explore more restaurants around my area and was craving Thai so I had to check out Absolute Thai-Sushi!! Service was attentive and nice. The restaurant itself is not too big with a few tables. The restaurant is in the mall where you can look out to the mall patrons walking around. I tried the papaya salad, street noodles and pad Thai. The papaya salad was okay, a bit pricey in my opinion. Between the street noodles and pad Thai, I liked the street noodles a bit better. I think overall the noodle dishes were a bit saucier than I expected but was still tasty.

Very tasty and fresh Thai food that is some of the best I have ever had. Highly recommend the pineapple chicken, steak, pineapple fried rice, and pad see ew, and spring rolls. Great and friendly service. Will come back whenever we are in town.

I was in Kenilworth for a little spa time and happened upon this little gem and its huge menu of Thai and Japanese deliciousness. The service was so friendly and made me feel like I was dining at a friend's place. There was cute Halloween decor abound and a comfy cute overall vibe/theme. I was in the mood for something a little spicy and the drunken noodles hit the perfect note. Everything was fresh and flavorful. I'll definitely be back to try some sushi and rice dishes.

I really really love this place. The fried rice is a winner every single time. I call in my order, do my shopping at Trader Joe's and pick up my delicious food. The orange tea is quite sweet but amazing. The staff is super friendly. Quiet as kept, I don't even like Thai food but this place hits the mark every time. I highly recommend this place.

I love this place. The food was delicious, the staff is very nice and the restaurant has a lot of options in the menu. Will definitely keep visiting.

Good service and nice ambiance but my meal was very bland and the sauce was watery. I was disappointed with the 4 shrimps I paid extra for. I was upset because I been craving Thai food

I love their food. Service was good despite their being just one man working. I love that you can byob. There are annoying nats from a few plants but they weren't too overwhelming. The food is reasonably priced and it's fresh and delicious.

Massaman curry with rice, chicken satay

Had to spend the morning in the mall due to cleaning aftermath, and decided to try this Thai place recommended by a friend. Service: the owner/server was friendly, but he mentioned staff layoff and hiring difficulties that caused the place to open one hour later than usual (at noon instead of 11am). Also he alone was in charge of welcoming guests and checking the bills on top of all the service, the whole thing ran a bit slow. I went in at noon, finished ordering with QR code scanning, and waited for 5 minutes for the first two dishes, and another 15 minutes for the other two dishes. I also had to wait another 10 minutes to get takeaway boxes because he was too busy serving other guests. Food: I tried four siganture Thai/Southeast Asian dishes. Could not finish them all and packed up the majority of the latter two. -Chicken satay: served lukewarm, not quite steamy, probably sat on the waiting counter for a while. Taste was nice though. Chicken was not overly deep fried and retained much of the juiciness. Satay sauce had spot-on thickness and heavy taste of peanut, a bit on the sweeter side for my taste. -Massaman curry: ordered with pork, medium spiciness. A bit too watery, wish it were thicker. But taste was nice, had the burning sensation of spices, while also retaining a pleasant sweet and sour frutiness. Pork was bland though, as if they were just blanched and dumped into curry. Needs more seasoning and simmering in the curry. -Pineapple fried rice with chicken: fried rice came with two shrmips and I ordered chicken on top. Tasted nice, not too dry, had the refreshing sweet and sour taste of pineapple, spiceness is spot-on, and generous portion of chicken. I would like the pineapple dices to be a bit smaller and more numerous to create an even texture. -Pad thai: standard. Generous portion of crushed peanut. I would like the bean sprouts to be lightly fried rather than toally raw. Overall: 3.5-4 stars. Some letdowns, service could be an issue if they do not hire an additional hand, but the food is quite solid, probably the best Thai/Southeast Asian place in the greater Baltimore area so far.

Served me ACTUAL rotten mango! This was absolutely gross... I ordered 2 and both were rotten. This is so disappointing. They didn't offer much help with a refund or any of the sort.

Despite it being busy due to it being valentines, our servers were very observant and caring! The food: don't get me started... absolute fire spot to go to if you have the munchies is all I'll say. The Peking duck wrap was phenomenal! We ordered the half duck, and it unexpectedly came with this soup. I don't know what magic powder they put in there but it tasted GREAT. It usually isn't a busy place, but I was still surprised we could get a table peak hours of Valentine's Day without a reservation. Absolutely no complaints here ;)

Excellent evening visit to Red Pepper Sichuan!…read more We had some difficult decisions at first because we flipped through the entire menu and didn't see many vegetarian/vegan options. With the help of the server, we were able to select four menu items. These ranged from excellent to very good. The star of the show was Red Pepper's Mapo Tofu. I loved the garlicky and spicy flavors. They meshed well together. I also ordered the Deep Fried Spicy Green Peppers. I was warned by the server that they were really spicy. She wasn't kidding. I'm still working on them days later because I can't eat too many at once. My wife ordered the Mixed Vegetable Dry Pot. This was very good, although there was a spice in it that I wasn't fond of. About every four bites I could taste it. She also ordered the pan fried vegetable dumplings. We loved these. Each dish cost about 15 dollars so we left with a sixtish dollar bill. But the sizes made this seem reasonable as we took some of everything as leftovers. Definitely fans of this place and we will be back.

Although the menu has quite a few unconventional items, I was a little disappointed not to have found basics I was craving -- shrimp toast and shrimp egg rolls. The egg rolls I got were quite thin, but, much more disappointingly, not at all crispy. I ate them in the car to catch them before they got soggy, but was not successful... soft and quite forgettable. MuShu pork was good, but the 'extra pancakes' did not come with extra sauce. (The original 6 pancakes are plenty btw). The sauce (concentrated, dark, not the typical hoisin) did not go a long way and I wished I had more of it as it ran out half way through the dish. The house lo mein was ok, not quite as flavorful as I've had from other places (maybe less msg? lol). Three Cup chicken I was excited to try after seeing it in all reviews was fine, but I think I'll just get general Tso or sesame chicken next. Over all, I think I'll give it another chance -- trying various items -- but so far, I'm not impressed. The dining room looked lovely by the way, but, like I said, I got carry out so can't comment on the service.

Amazing experience!…read more New Generation Hot Pot was my first foray into the world of hot pot. Essentially you pick out your base, vegetables and proteins and noodle style. Those items are placed in your own pot which cooks in front of you. New Generation also offers a bar with lots of different self serve sauces and additional flavorings. The waitress assigned to my wife and I was very friendly. She took the time to go through the process with my wife and I. She offered many suggestions, answered our questions and was very attentive. She cheered us on if we were debating something and essentially was like "do it". Since it is all you can eat, she kept coming back, checking in and taking additional orders from us. The prices were not cheap but considering it is all you can eat and they have some ingredients that are a bit atypical, I didn't mind paying the price.

Great Hot Pot Spot just outside of Baltimore…read more Pros: Check out this revolving Hot Pot place, sides keep coming on a conveyor belt! The food quality is awesome, we loved the tender beef, chicken, and fatty beef. The crab balls were good too! I loved the Pork Bone Broth. Everything was DELICIOUS! The waitress was ON TOP OF THINGS! Constantly helping us if we needed anything and open to suggestions of her favorite items. Free Ice Cream at the end!!! Cons: While the sauces were awesome, you have to create your own. They have suggestions, but it is hard to figure out how to make them. The hot bar was sitting out for awhile (fries, sweet and sour chicken, fried rice) and wasn't too hot.
