So…read morewhen you call the company, owners Son-Mom duo (Perry & Sally) are going to pick up the phone. From the very first call, they were friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel comfortable choosing them. There was no upselling, in-fact Perry convinced me to drop some unnecessary equipment (which would have otherwise added to the invoice price). The installation went smoothly, and the team (David, Nathan and John) took their time to explain everything clearly and answer all of our questions. What really sets them apart is the support after the installation. Anytime we've had a question or needed help, they've been quick to respond and genuinely happy to assist. The owner, Perry, dropped by a couple of days after installation to help us out on an issue. It's rare to find a company that truly cares about their customers the way they do. It feels great supporting a local family business, and we feel much safer in our home because of them. We did thorough due diligence for a couple of months and are happy to work with N&D Security. Please don't consume your time in unnecessary google searches, look no further and select N&D Security for all your security needs. From the initial coordination with Perry, with whom I was in contact with to set this up, through the final installation, the experience was excellent. The technicians, John and Nathan, were outstanding: professional, courteous, respectful of my home, and exceptionally knowledgeable. Although I was in meetings for much of the installation, they worked efficiently and independently, and everything was completed seamlessly. Their expertise and attention to detail were evident throughout the process. The system itself is excellent, and the installation was done with great care (and for an affordable, reasonable price). Most importantly, I now feel significantly safer and more secure, which is exactly what one hopes for when investing in a home security system. To add one more thing to think about if you are considering ADT. They make it very difficult to…read morecancel. One cannot do it online. the hold time for customer service today was 58 minutes. When you get to talk to someone they try to talk you out of canceliing, and only reluctantly tell you someone will call back later. I did this 6 months ago, and must have forgotten about it and have been paying for a service i don't use. and definitely don't do auto pay. you have to go through the same process to stop it.

I had ADT install a security system on my house back in late June I have come to some financial…read moredifficulties that I actually have no control over so I called to cancel services at most temporary only to find out that in the contract that I signed I am bonded to them for 5yrs and to cancel early would cost me over $6,500 but they would do a one time reduction to 2,500 if I paid at that moment I said hold up I never would of signed any contract especially for 5yrs well I was told the supervisor of this department would call me back in 24-48hrs we'll 72hrs later I had to reach back out to them only to be told that I was bonded when I called ADT for their services none of this was ever discussed about a contract come to find out they offer a 24-60 month contract why was none of this discussed they took it upon themselves to put for the 5yr or 60 month agreement I would of never went with any thing cause contracts are nothing more then a loop hole and only one party is in benefit of said contract I can understand a contract if you were financing the equipment for them to provide their services but I paid for all of my equipment upfront I thought it was simply a month to month till I called them to only find out differently I had no issues with the service they provided until I was asking for a temporary stop of services only then had I been told that I couldn't because I was in a contract that they not me chose the highest end of their contracts so I at this point I feel entrapped never have I heard of company choosing the highest contract they offered cause honestly at that point I would of most certainly not of gone with a 5yrs at most I would of done is a 2yr contract they don't inform you cause it is of no interest or benefit other then their own I had no clue I was in a bonding agreement I was under the impression it was strictly month to month until I called to cancel and to be honest I'm still in shock I am gonna take this to the fullest extent of the law cause they are obligated to disclose this information to their customers not just in writing but verbally as well so everyone is on the same page and everything has been fully explained

In May 2025, I contacted Vivint to cancel my service and provided the required 30-day notice. Despite multiple attempts to cancel, they have refused to honor my request and have continued to charge my credit card. Due to their refusal to cancel the service, I was forced to cancel my credit card--a major inconvenience. The customer service experience has been extremely poor. With so many alarm companies available today, I find it unacceptable that Vivint treats its customers this way. To make matters worse, their customer service is not based in the United States, and communication has been difficult. I also sent two written correspondences to Vivint's corporate headquarters and never received a response. Anyone considering this company should be cautious. Once you sign up, canceling is a nightmare. The customer service is virtually nonexistent, and the overall experience has been incredibly frustrating.

We moved to Tennessee and called Vivent. They installed thousands of dollars worth of equipment. When we went to close the Easton account it was impossible because we refused to pay the 30 day penalty. The rep was rude and abrasive and argumentative. Our new buyers are in the Easton home and we are still getting alerts that our alarm is on. Now Vivent says unless our buyers utilize Vivent they will penalize us. For the fourth time my husband is trying to close that account. We are going to report them to BBB and the attorney general of Maryland.

Rob and his colleague installed ethernet throughout our three-story townhouse (7 drops in total). Like another reviewer, we previously had ethernet only in the basement, resulting in poor Wi-Fi coverage on the upper levels. Regarding Trebor Technical Solutions, I wholeheartedly echo what others have shared. During the consultation, as Sriram (2021) observed, Rob "took notes of the locations where I wanted the drops, estimated the length of each run from the networking rack, and how the drops would be wired, carefully noting the number of cuts needed." Indeed, watching Rob in action is impressive--you can see him map, anticipate, and solve problems, as if he can "see" behind the drywall, identifying the cleanest and most efficient pathways. Sriram also noted Rob's "attention to detail deserves special mention, from planning the project to execution." I agree completely. Chaz (2024) wrote, "My experience with Trebor Technical Solutions was top-notch. The owner, Rob, went above and beyond." Absolutely. Rob left our townhouse better than he found it. Originally, ethernet entered through a hole in the wall--Rob repaired that neatly. He also removed unnecessary coax cables, replacing those plates with new ethernet plates. As reviewers' pictures show, Rob meticulously labeled each line with its corresponding room. Dan (2022) shared, "Rob is a pleasure to work with and makes everything easy. He pays close attention to details but also makes amazing recommendations." Couldn't agree more. He has a high work ethic and high standards. Todd (2022) wrote, "There's every reason you should immediately choose this company. Rob, the owner and a worker bee, is highly motivated to do right and technically trained by several mainstream internet and TV companies. He is extremely responsive and an awesome communicator." Rob's background (having worked at major companies) and continued work experience (providing expertise and skill to a variety of clients) are indeed impressive. Kyle's (2021) general contractor remarked on "how astonished he was with the gentle and delicate approach Rob took to making cuts in the drywall. Even though I was running drops across three floors and opposite sides of the house, Rob made only the smallest of cuts in the fewest places and did an excellent job patching up the drywall." Exactly. These were also my observations: Rob accomplishes tasks effectively with minimal disruption. Notably, he expertly repairs drywall cuts, leaving them paint-ready--a service many contractors overlook, as Sriram (2021) mentioned. Finally, Rob's patience deserves special mention. He patiently walks you through each step of the process at the level of detail you prefer, answering questions thoroughly--from the initial consultation through to completion and beyond. It was remarkable how patient and kind he was when explaining the system, piece by piece, and assisting us in setting everything up. We're grateful to have met and worked with Rob and his colleague. If you want commercial-grade quality and craftsmanship in your home, you've found the right team.
