Christian Ellsworth was dispatched to my house ahead of the scheduled appointment. He messaged me that he was on his way. I was not available earlier than the scheduled time and called the dispatcher and spoke to the scheduler, who contacted Christian and redirected him elsewhere BUT also confirmed that Christian would be at my house as previously scheduled. Christian Ellsworth arrived at my house with Christian Espinoza the scheduled time. I explained to both of them the work I wanted done: * pull Ethernet cable from bedroom cable modem /router to living room Smart TV (co-axial cable wire had been pulled from bedroom cable modem /router to living room Smart TV during a prior renovation 2 years ago, but we neglected to pull Ethernet cable at that time) * pull Ethernet cable from bedroom cable modem /router to living room computer work station * pull HDMI cable from living room smart TV to living room computer work station * fix kitchen flickering lights - likely faulty dimmer switch. They acknowledged the work list, developed a work plan and created a proposal to get the work done. They reviewed the plan with me and I approved the scope of work and signed the work order. They got to work and immediately discovered challenges but were not deterred. With each challenge they faced - joists, studs, insulation, previous drilled holes for interior wiring not aligned with their access points - they developed a strategy to overcome the challenge and bring each item to completion. I had purchased some of the necessary wiring (CAT7 Ethernet cable, HDMI cable) but, with the challenges that became evident in the course of the work, what I had purchased for the job(s) was not enough. This was not a problem for them. They procured the necessary materials from their truck and items that they needed but didn't have, they got delivered to them from another truck or their warehouse. Their work and work ethic was completely professional and exemplary. They were mindful and careful not to damage anything. They explained everything - problems and solutions - to me as they were working. When they were done, they helped me connect everything up properly, put everything back the way they found it and thoroughly cleaned up after themselves. They stayed and worked with me to test everything - TV, computer, and kitchen lights - and ensured that their work achieved the desired outcome. Recently returned to the Beach and noticed we had three outlets that were inoperable. Had Expert Wire conduct an electrical inspection to see the extent of our issue. After reviewing our wiring and our panel, they offered us a number of options including updating our breakers and running additional wiring since it appears that when the four season room was added, the contractor tied into an existing line which had resulted in us having issues. Within two days, the breakers and wiring were available and Yunior and Brandon spent the day updating our electrical service. The repairs took most of the day and both Yunior and Brandon worked diligently throughout the day. They went to great plans to make sure we understood the work being done and at all times were very professional. When they arrived they put on foot coverings to insure that they were not tracking dirt inside our home. They cleaned up after themselves and while working they remained focus on their job. I had a very extensive amount of Electrical work that needed done during a renovation of our home. This was a multiple day job that involved 7 employees from Expert Electric. My bathroom exhaust fan at our beach house in Fenwick Island, DE was not working. I am incredibly impressed with the Expert Wire professionals, Matt W. and Yunior, who serviced my home yesterday. I needed to take down my old ceiling fan in a 20-foot high ceiling living room, replace it with a newer model, and then take the old one to install in my office. Both Matt W. and Yunior were highly efficient and knowledgeable. They came prepared with the 18-foot A-frame ladder, extremely careful to ensure the ladder did not touch any of my furniture. Matt told me that he is very experienced with my custom Haiku ceiling fan from the Big Ass Company. After they took down my old ceiling fan, Matt swiftly installed it in my office while Yunior assembled the new model. Once the new fan was assembled, they carefully installed it on the high ceiling. They even ensured everything was working correctly, including the two fans' radio frequencies, before they left my home. Nate and Rich initially came out to inspect reasons why our lights were flickering and to fix some lights that were not working with the possibility of switching everything to wafer LED lights. After an inspection, Nate found that our electric box outside was actually improperly installed and needed to be fixed. He gave us a great price to do that along with switching out all of our old lights to the wafer LED lights and installing 2 additional lights in our bedroom and 2 new fans. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable and friendly. They scheduled to come back out with a team on my next available day and did amazing work. Nate, Rich, Matt E, Jacob and Brian worked most of the day here. They were patient with my youngest asking a lot of questions and even took the time to ask if my dogs would be alright being covered or if I would like to move them. Aaron and Blayne were amazing! They were incredibly professional and clearly skilled electricians. They were hired to install ceiling mounted LED lights in the living room, kitchen, dining area, and bedroom. There were no lights anywhere other than in the kitchen prior to their arrival so they had to measure, drill, run wire, mount electrical boxes and wire molds (concrete ceilings), and finally the light fixtures. They also ran wire and mounted cable boxes. They also mounted a large TV and shelves accessories. Their work is clean, precise and high quality. They took their time to ensure they did their best work. They had a great spirit, communicated effectively, explained what they were doing and seemed to genuinely care. We would like to give Aaron 10 stars - a 5 for each job completed. He has performed work twice this year in our home, however I failed to provide a review after the first work was completed. During that first visit, we explained what were looking to have done. He discussed our options and completed the work. The new lighting was exactly what we wanted and is perfect. We recently had to have our electric service & meter replaced due to the poor condition of the equipment. Aaron is knowledgeable, personable, & takes the time to explain everything. Expert wire installed 12 ceilings lights, 8 ceiling fans, 6 kitchen pendants and a very large chandelier in the foyer of my home. The lights were installed over 2 days. DeShawn and Nate handled the entire second floor of my of my home on Day 1 and Deshawn, Blayne and Yunior returned for the second day. They had to, in many cases, assemble and build the lights. The chandelier was an special challenge as it hangs in a 2 story foyer. The assembly required precise measurements in the build of the hanging pendants. They did a fantastic job. The expertise of the senior and junior team members was impressive and they worked together in a cohesive efficient and personable team. We had 2 ceiling fans installed, one in a 2-story family room, another in a room with 12-foot ceilings. It was pouring rain when Andrew and Aaron arrived. They took great care to keep from tracking water on my floors. They were friendly, respectful and professional. They arrived on time. They did a good job installing the fans. Once the fans were installed, they noted that we only had an on/off switch on the wall, with no way to change the fan speed. I asked if they could order switches with a slide to adjust the speed and then we could set up another appointment. Rather than that, they actually went to the electric supply company, got the switches, and came back and installed them the same day! Very positive experience. I contacted Expert wire for an emergency with my melting outside electric box. The customer service lady that answered the phone was extremely courteous and helpful. She instructed me to contact Delmarva CO OP immediately for an inspection and wrote the emergency ticket for her crew to come out same day. Matt came out right away, within 2 hours, to assess the damage, instruct us how to lower our usage as a precaution and told us everything we needed to know to stay safe. Next day Matt and 'Yunior came and replaced all our outside wiring, the box and then did a complete inspection of our inside breaker box, smoke detectors, and all our outlets expecelly the GFI ones. Morgan and Deshawn installed dimmers throughout my home today, they wall mounted a TV and moved outlets and the cable jack with in-wall wiring for the TV. They were on time, professional, and very customer service oriented. I did have a question with some work they did that I discovered just after they left, so I called the office and Morgan was back in a little over an hour and addressed the issue with me. It turned out to be very minor. Having a number to call after hours and getting a response was great. The prices are higher than some of the solo handymen or electricians, but assuming the work holds up - and they do warranty it - I think the pricing matches the level of service. I would be happy to have them come back for more work. read more
