To be quite honest. I would give Absolute Painting a minus 10 !!!!! Do not believe anything the Owner of the Company (Kirk A.) tells you when his is providing a bid !!! When he came out to bid on the paint job, he was told that I had just had the house replaced with new T-11 siding. He told us that the paint and labor was warranted for 5 years. I trusted Kirk and made the mistake of taking his word; not making sure it was in the signed contract. Fast forward, 3 years after he painted my exterior, the paint started to crack. When I called Kirk, he said he was busy, that he would call me back to set up a date and time to come to my house to see the cracking paint. Needless to say, Kirk NEVER CALLED BACK. When I called Kirk back a few days later, his response was that "HE WAS PLANNING TO RETIRE SOON; THEREFORE HE WAS NOT COMPELLED TO DO ANYTHING". I called the owner, Kirk, again. His comment was "THE REASON the PAINT CRACKED is because the paint was applied to NEW T-11 SIDING" This is the most LAME EXCUSE I have ever heard !!!! If this were true, why did he verbally warrent the work for 5 years? Kirk of Absolute Painting is the MOST DISHONEST CONTRACTOR I have ever worked with!!!!! Kirk and his crew did the exterior power wash and painting for my house. Kirk clearly has a lot of experience and has been working with his crew for a long time. He managed the job closely from start to finish and did whatever was necessary to keep his guys on track. I commend him for alerting us right away when his guys pointed out an issue with our HOA provided color scheme. Won't wash or paint a house built before 1960! It's laughable, especially in a city with many houses built prewar. Just don't even bother calling if you happen to have a nice, older house. read more

I hired this contractor to paint my house. After one year, the color began to crack and peel off. Not recommend.

Warning! I watched these workers paint over dirt on my outside window seals and then lied to my face and said they didn't. I have 9 windows and by the time I caught them they had already painted 5 of them. I when around the house and looked at the other 4 windows that had not been painted yet and they were dirty. I called the owner and complained and he didn't seem to care. They then power washed the remaining windows. read more

I found Absolute Painting from neighbors who used Kirk's service early this year. Kirk responded my call right way and gave me a detailed estimate for a very good price. My house exteriors were in bad condition. The paint was peeling off and the raining season is coming. He was busy at the time but was able to squeeze my job in 2 sessions. It was completed just a few days before rainng. I am very happy for the finished result. My guests of Thanksgiving dinner complimented how beautiful the house changed after Absolute Painting. Kirk's workers are true professional. They spent many hours to do preparations and use oil based primer. On the front face, they painted multiple coats to achive a smooth surface. Excellent job. By the way, Kirk do not ask deposit in front and encouraged me to get a couple quotesn before signing the contract. They used good paint too. Not the cheapest one that won't last. Kirk and his team were fabulous. From day one, Kirk arrived on time each day with his crew, explained what they would be doing for the day and did exactly what was planned. Once the crew was settled, Kirk would leave and return several times during the day to ensure the job was moving as expected and to check if I had any questions or concerns. At the end of the day, the job was left spotless, all ladders, and tools were covered neatly in a corner and covered for the night. The crew was very respectful of my home, sometimes I forgot they were there. I had to remind them several times that it's OK to play music and have lunch in the patio area, but they chose not to. Regarding the project, I couldn't find one spec of paint anywhere; it was unbelievable especially painting my wrought iron gate and fence with black paint. I thought for sure I would easily find a black drip mark, but nothing, clean as a whistle. I have used this company for both interior painting as well as exterior painting of my home. Kirk provides stellar service: attentive and listens to what your ideas are. He has an excellent crew. These guys are punctual, clean, respect your property. With other companies that have shown up, I have been wary about their integrity. Kirk and his guys are A#1! Kirk came to do an estimate for painting the interior of my home. He appeared to be someone that is very tempermental and stated he did not want his crew to be bothered. It was a turn off from the start. He said my project was too much work. He called me after a couple of days and told me he had so many jobs lined up and couldnt paint my house. Look elsewhere for another paint contractor that has better communication skills. His painters might be good however, you are paying the money, so it's important to be able to speak with the owner should a problem arise. I viewed him as unprofessional. read more

These painters are the best! The owner Kirk knows his business inside and out. He will come out to your house and give you a very fair estimate. His crew (I got Max and Cello and both of them are excellent and very hard workers). Kirk comes every single day to the job site to check on the progress, and to make sure everything is running smoothly. The crew had to do three days of prep work to my house. They cleaned up at the end of each day. Every single piece of old paint flakes were picked up at the end of the each day. The owner and the crew are all professional and very kind. My house looks amazing. Their long hours of hard work certainly shows. My neighbor used this company years ago and I remembered being impressed with the work.
