I had been going here for many years, but I had to change hairdressers. The new lady not only did not listen to what I said, she did exactly the opposite of what I requested. The cut may have been technically OK, but it was so extremely ugly on me I could not wait for it to grow out so I could get it fixed. I made a first time appointment for a haircut with JESSICA. I got there early and waited 20 minutes in my car directly in front of the door to the Salon. I went in at 12:45. Apparently, they had me scheduled for 1:00. JESSICA said the salon never calls clients when they are 5-10 minutes late - they just cancel them. She had no client in her chair and didn't tell me why she couldn't take me for a simple trim on a simple, non layered bob cut albeit a little late. I rescheduled, but felt there was little care for clients. After a moment, I decided to cancel that appointment and said that I was outside for 20 minutes and if someone had called or texted, I could have walked right in. She, in her distant, saccharine soaked voice said, I'm busy - good luck finding another salon. I did find another salon - one who assured me that if a client is running late they call or text to see if they are on the way, ESPECIALLY first time appointments, like mine, in case they are having trouble finding the salon. It took my new stylist 20-25 minutes for a wash and a beautiful bouncy trim. I left it air dry into beach waves today. I have an appointment next week for a color session to help me grow into my grey in a blended way and will get the works. Having a home in San Diego and one here, I was disappointed when my regular stylist moved away from the area. I am glad I found a great stylist and will be very motivated to keep her happy as well, via my tipping. As the parent of a daughter in the industry, in San Diego, I have learned from her that a 20% tip for a stylist compared to 20% for a meal at a restaurant is not equal. A stylist spends a LOT of time on you herself. I agree and tip based on time which is higher than the expected standard. I wish JESSICA luck, knowing it will take her 3 clients at least to equal one of my tips. read more

Brand spankin' new, very clean, very posh & mod. We followed our stylist here from another place across town and this is a wicked improvement. This salon is different from the rest, there is no drama between the girls, they are fun and energetic, they make you feel at home. The girls here take pride in their work and frequently attend continued education classes, whether it is in the salon or if they have to travel. They are always busy because they are great at what they do. That's why it's hard to get an appointment with them. Be patient and call before you NEED to get in, not the day of. Also, they are independent and charge differently for some services. I've been going to them for about 8 years now. read more

I am convinced you can't get a better pedicure anywhere in the State of Arizona as good as the one Lisa provides at Absolute Bliss. It's luxurious and relaxing for you and your feet. I am always totally delighted with her work. This is a real honest-to-goodness pedicure - it's not one of those 20 minute tortures you get at those places that run you through like cattle. Seems to me it costs a little more than the other generic type pedicure, but it is definitely worth the price. read more
