I just moved to this city about 6 months ago and was reluctant to try a new hair dresser. And honestly if I went off the reviews I would have never tried this salon. (Some people are just downright mean) BUT I am so glad I did. Not only did I find an amazing stylist.... so did my sister! (And she is VERY picky)! I love how down to earth and talented Beth is. She listens, gives you what you ask for and then some!!! She makes you feel relaxed and confident when you walk out of this salon. I will stay with her for life. And am you should too. I finnaly found my salon..Jamie was the best.. I will always go to her! I have been to several places around town no one could color or cut my hair the right way. I havent had a haircut (besides me thinking i can trim my own) in 3 years. I turned more gray, had dead ends and the end of my last color. She recommend a beautiful color and a great cut. Nice atmosphere, pleasant staff. Went in for a pedicure, first time. Young woman was very nice, conversational. The pedicure was not a good one. She did not work much on individual toes (missing the ingrowns), rather focusing on the entire foot. As a result, 1 and 1/2 days later I was having ingrown nail problems--but they looked great. read more

Although I just started here, I feel so at home in this salon! There's no acrylics here so your not hit with that awful smell. Jamie does my gel nails and is exquisite with her work. She's the best! I'm blessed to have Beth as my hairdresser. She takes time to get to know your hair and cuts it according to your hair type not just to cut your hair doing her job. I went to Cosmopolitan Salon for partial highlights. I told Krystina that I wanted to go lighter and I had very important meetings the next week. Well I walked out of the salon looking the same way I walked in. Almost no color. When I expressed my disappointment, Krystina offered to fix it so 2 days later I went back for another round. Again there was very little difference but she told me it would lighten over time. Here it is almost a week later and still no change. I will not be going back to that salon. read more

I've been to this salon twice now. Friendly staff. Nothing special about the haircuts I've gotten here. Took my elderly mother in and her hair didn't turn out horrible but nothing spectacular either. Mine was a super short choppy hair cut and the stylist did pretty well. The cut held up for months. Love how textured she got it. Didn't get any compliments on the haircut but it was fine. read more

I had family coming in from out of town and I was really upset with how my hair looked. She was so caring and professional. I've never experienced someone so kind and skilled. I had a rookie who asked me what clippers she should use. 7 minutes in the chair. I wouldn't go back

I had no appointment and was taken in right away. On first impression it was really dirty with dust and hair covering most everything. I saw splatters of hair color on the ceiling getting my hair washed. After getting my hair washed I said I was growing my hair out and was fine with long layers. I ended up with the top layer by my ears and bottom layers way beneath my shoulders with horrible blending, even razor cutting my fine hair and leaving me with even less hair than before. The stylist I had was nice enough but there was a lot of cussing and ribbing the other stylists and I felt like a third wheel most of the time. I now have to go and get a bob to fix the cut I got. Definitely don't recommend. read more

I called Cosmopolitan Salon on May 4th to make a nail appointment with Shelly. She passed me on to Christina for May 10th. When I showed up for my appointment I was told my appointment had been for May 3rd (day before I made the appointment). Christina said she could take me an hour later but I didn't want to drive back in to town again; 7 miles one way. I was given no apology from Shelly. I should have been given some compensation for the awful mistake she made. Very bad first and last impression! read more

Love getting my hair done here by Jenn. She does an amazing job. Everyone is so friendly. I always look great when I leave. Now I get my pedicures here and my facials too. It's wonderful to get everything done on the same day and make just one trip. Olivia is the first manicurist that doesn't hurt my toes. I finally like getting a pedicure. Esther gives the best facials. I always walk out of Cosmopolitan Salon and Day Spa feeling like a million bucks. Their location also means I can go to the movies when I'm done. read more
