Prior to working with them I was job hunting on my own, and while I was getting interviews, many of the companies I was interviewing with didn't take me seriously. It was really frustrating and I was considering giving up. After giving Mark my resume, he set me up for an interview with a company he had good rapport with. Additionally, he provided tips on how to prep for the interview and was always really supportive throughout the job process. I've never worked with a recruiter who was so dedicated in helping me out and following up with me. In a short time frame, I was hired! Since then, I have been loving my job and everyone I work with! It also helps that the pay raise is substantial compared to my last job. Again, this is not just your standard, run of the mill employment agency with lots of entry-level jobs; most of the positions they have are higher level, senior/managerial accounting positions. They pay quite a bit, but you need to have the experience to back it up. Sometimes they offer admin positions and entry-level accounting jobs (and the hourly pay is slightly better than other temp agencies I've seen) but they are few and far between. Their company is small but I found that comforting since Laura spoke to me like a person, not a number. In today's economy, everyone is hunting for jobs like crazy.
