Please be cautious when hiring Abraham's Professional Tree Service. They were recently hired, unbeknownst to me, by the property management company that manages the rental house next door, to prune my 75 year-old oak tree that stands between the two houses. Their first response when I tried to stop them, was that the property manager had told them that she had been informed me about the work. Which she had not. That they were lied to by the property manager is not their fault and legally they have a right to do the work. However they were not the least bit sympathetic or interested in hearing about my concerns about the tree, arguing that they were licensed. They removed massive amounts of wood from one side of an oak tree that is already leaning slightly toward my house. They had never, unless they trespassed on my property, assessed the stability or health of the tree before doing this work. The Abrahams' manager while telling me they knew what they doing, told me that my other oak tree, which is in my backyard and can only be seen from the street through a tall picket fence, was going to fall and destroy my garage. I take the responsibility and liability for these trees extremely seriously. In the 25 years that I have owned this house, I have spent at least $20,000 keep both oak trees properly pruned, as well as assessed by an independent dedicated arborist making sure these trees are safe and healthy, not only for my sake, but for the neighboring property as well. Yet he, while touting his 10 years of experience as an aborist, made that assessment by looking through a fence at a tree over 45 feet away. So potential customers, be cautious. I am now waiting for the owner of the well-respected, 25 year-old tree company, that has taken care of these trees for 15 years, to come and check the stability of the tree. read more

We hired Abraham's a couple of years ago for an emergency when a huge tree limb fell onto our neighbor's roof. They did an excellent job then, so we hired them again to prune our many oak trees. They did an excellent job. They were fast and efficient. I recommend them. read more

I did not hire them but it my neighbor did. They tied a tarp over the fence and onto a stake for a tree of mine. While grinding out the stump they broke a fence post and knocked over another. They also broke part of one of my trees in my side of the property line. I admittedly was aggravated by this and spoke over the fence about this. Person I later was told could be a Ben, based on the day of week and location according to Angelic(sp?), called me an f-ing a-hole, tried to gaslighting me on what was broken and when it would be replaced, called me a prick. I asked for his name and his company, he said he would give me a card and he was the owner. He called me an f-ing prick as he walked away. I found the company after waiting for 10 minutes for him to come back. I called their number as it was listed as open. I spoke to Angelic(again sp?) and she said she would call me back when she found out whom was working. That's when I heard the name Ben. She never confirmed he was the owner. Edit and Updated score: We communicated and Ben was very professional. While I don't agree with how everything went down, he was a class act and made up for it. read more

I hired them to do other work and was persuaded to have the Japanese maple pruned. They severely pruned it and it died. I had a healthy, green tree and after they left, it died. I called twice and twice was told I'd receive a call back. No one ever called. That's their customer service; none, after they have your money. Naturally, they won't get my business again. This was my first time having any tree work done with Abraham's. They were recommended by my neighbors. I'm actually really happy! They knew what they were doing, didn't trim too much yet made sure to shape it just right to keep shade and prevent the tree from hitting my neighbors Japanese maple (they were growing into each other). Then they helped my lawn so much better! Gave me advice on how to get it green again. Very knowledgeable, good attitude, affordable price, in and out quickly and left no debris behind. This company is fantastic! From start to finish, my experience was top notch. Ben, the operation manager, provided me with a quote the same day he looked at my project. It was concise, and the price was fair. They removed a huge Mulberry tree, as the roots were uplifting my patio and nearing the foundation of my home. They replaced it with a beautiful Japanese Maple. They did everything right - showed up on time - took care to protect my neighbors yard from debris -communicated very well - asked all the right questions at the right time - left my yard, and the entire area PERFECT. We received a quote to trim our liquid amber trees (3) out in our front yard. Another company gave us a lower bid so when we mentioned that, we received a lower bid from them. I got a good feeling when I met Ben, so I was hoping that would happen. He was very helpful and had his crew there when he said he would. He also endeavored to take care of my plants I had in front. They cut back and trimmed our trees. read more

We hired Ben Cervantes who is the field boss and salesman for Abrahams Tree Care. We paid him almost $9,000 for a removal of 2 trees at our home and to stump grind 10" below grade. ( 10" below grade in proposal) I told him he could leave chips , it was getting late. 6 months later we had a professional landscaper come to instal new landscaping. After chips were removed, that Ben had left on top of stumps. We discover that the Large stumps we , in fact , were left 12" above grade. I had Ben return to take down 2 smaller trees and asked him at that time to finish the stump grinding. When he was finished he produced an extra bill for $2000 for stump grinding. I pulled his old quote and showed him that stump grinding was to be taken 10" below grade. And I did not feel it was fair for him to charge us anything extra for a grinding that was already paid for. At this point he started calling me a F---king A--hole. And threatened to return all the chips and stumps he had remove from our property and dump them in our driveway. He was out of control with anger and was sending threating voice mails and texts all night. read more
