On July 14, 2026, I received an email from the company's President and CEO. In that email, he wrote: "Your total loss is not our fault and not our responsibility." This is a direct quote from the email I received, and I have retained the original email. In my opinion, this response lacked empathy and professionalism, especially given the circumstances. Others may view it differently, but I believe it speaks for itself. This review is based solely on my personal experience and on written communications I received. I called an my service advisor told me the work had to be done; sent me an invoice for cost and as I had a trip scheduled; I said do it. And that's when it all fell apart. 1. Part of the work was under warrantee, he wasn't aware of at first. 2. Then he told me they could not make repairs due to not having the parts. 3. Then it changed to he couldn't get car in because service team had the next 2 days off, 4. Then it was the car wouldn't be finished as the silicon had to harden. 5. I asked if I could make a 1400 mile trip with the car as it was, and he was like sure thing. Needless to say, I left feeling unsafe to be driving that distance and so I rented a car. It nagged at me~ did the car need immediate action? I called when I returned from my trip and spoke to Rich the Service Manager. He listened to my concern ; I had left with my car not having been repaired and I no longer felt safe driving it. More importantly I no longer had confidence in Brilliance Subaru. Rich stepped in and stepped up. He explained everything and listened to my concerns about "immediate action required". I told him, as a woman who does long distance driving~ any kind of driving, it's more dangerous if I break down on the tollroad. I need to feel safe in my care. I need my service advisor to tell me the truth about my vehicle and my safety. Rich made sure all the repairs were done and that my car was working. He apologized for the miscommunications, and I left feeling "safe". Brilliance fixed my car, explained it all, and I left on my next long distance trip in my own car, not a rental and it performed amazingly.

Met a guy Jeff that seems to be the head guy in charge. He was very patient, friendly, insightful with his knowledge and information. His experience definitely brought a whole lot of clarity that I had not seen from the other places. I brought my wife's 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit in for new brakes and rotors. A few weeks…read morelater, my wife noticed the brakes were making a squealing noise during turns so I brought the vehicle back to have it inspected. I was charged $100 just for them to look into the issue. What was most concerning was learning that when the brakes and rotors were replaced a few weeks earlier, the shop chose to install lower-quality aftermarket parts rather than OEM parts. The original components on the vehicle were OEM, but instead of giving us the option to choose, the service advisor of Indian descent told me they used cheaper parts because OEM parts were "too expensive" and would make them less competitive. That decision was made without our knowledge or approval. When it comes to critical safety components like brakes, customers should always be given the option and informed about the quality of parts being installed. Choosing lower-quality parts to save money--without discussing it with the customer--raises serious concerns about quality, safety, and reliability. At the very least, we should have been given the option to replace the parts with OEM components or informed beforehand about what was being installed. Instead of rectifying their original mistake they shifted focus to other parts (pins) that still didn't address the issue at hand. Hence, I would not recommend if you're looking for honesty, quality, safety, and RELIABILITY.
