Oil on the driveway. Ugh…read more Called some friends to get a recommendation for a local shop. One said that Scott from Sunland was the guy. We had the car towed over (2018 Ford Fusion Hybrid), and they diagnosed the problem and repaired the issue quickly and at a fair price. Unfortunately, the tech made a small mistake and once we got the car home, there was more oil on the driveway and a check engine light. Ugh, again. So we called back to Scott to see what he wanted us to do. We understand that sometimes mistakes are made and issues arise. How a business owner handles those issues are the difference between good businesses and great ones. This is a great one. Scott was MUCH more upset than we were! He got us back in same day and fixed the issue at no charge! (We should have paid for a necessary part, but he would not charge us.) With everything so expensive these days, and everyone trying to stretch a buck, it's hard to know if you're leaving your car with someone who cares about it as much as you do. Scott does. I cannot recommend this shop highly enough!

Their communication is top tier and they know what to recommend to get serviced next, without pressuring you. During the oil change I was handed a reminder sticker stating that I needed another oil change after only 3,000 miles. That is so obsolete...very few cars running full synthetic oil need oil changes this frequently. When I questioned it the tech told me he wasn't an expert in that field, which is concerning. How are you performing oil changes but aren't an expert? At the end of the oil change I was asked if I knew how to reset the oil change reminder in my car. Since BMW conducted the first 3 oil changes for me and this is the first one on my own, I said no. I was told someone would meet me on the side of the building to help me but no one ever came. I wound up figuring it out and drove off. They honored my $25 off coupon though, which was nice.

Score today I deducted a star from my rating today for the tunnel entrance employee who was preoccupied with another employee as we were trying to line up on the track. We managed w/o his assistance. My other deduction was for the exit blowers that failed to remove the water from the roof and rear window. Time to make an adjustment.
