Like others have stated, Paul, Mike and the rest of the crew are PAINFULLY honest and forthright; they won't go into any repair unless they explain what needs to be done, in detail, and if the repairs are worth it compared to the value of the vehicle. An example of their honesty: I thought that the neutral safety switch on my 2001 Jeep Wrangler was bad so I bought the part and went to Paul's to have it installed. A few hours later Paul called and said the issue was fixed and that it was nothing more than a dirty connection, which was cleaned and solved the problem. He gave the part back to me to return for a refund when he could have kept it and charged me for installation. My wife has also take her car in a couple of time for minor repairs and they were done FOR NO CHARGE!!! Where else can you get this kind of treatment? Paul's shop is so honest, reliable and reasonable in their charges that I usually just drop off my vehicles and tell them to fix any issues that they discover, knowing full well that they will never jack me around. The only issue that I have is that they are not open on the weekend or holidays, in order to give the crew time off and family time, haha! But, that's the kind of family oriented business that I want to deal with. I cannot recommend this shop highly enough and you'll be extremely pleased if you go there!!

Update to my saga with Arthur & The Fix Auto Repair -…read more Original issue: He replaced my clutch in June 2024 but damaged another part in the process. He also left multiple bolts missing out of my transmission housing. This horrified both mechanics that saw the car afterward, as we drove from Phoenix to Chicago and the entire transmission could have just fallen out on the highway. Another $3000 later, I had Ford re-do his work & fix the new damage. Arthur refused to take responsibility even when sent photos of the damage. I brought the issue to small claims court in June 2025. He lost the hearing. The judge ordered him to pay me the cost of repairs by the Ford mechanics. It is now January 2026 and Arthur has not paid me a cent. (Art, don't worry buddy, I'll get my money one way or another. Keep racking up the 8.5% interest on the judgment, that's fine by me). Don't be fooled by all the Christian paraphernalia in his shop's office. Arthur & his shop will rip you off & risk your life with their shoddy work.

When I picked my truck up, I noticed a leak before I drove off. They put it on the lift and fixed the leak. Driving home that night hard shift on the same gears and the same code. Took it back. After a few days they said it's fixed. Two days later same issue. Took it back again and after a few days they returned the truck. This time it was fixed. I finally parked in my driveway way after having it for a couple weeks and noticed it was leaking. Took it back and they didn't have time to look at it. They sent me down to their sister shop and they said it was a gasket leak. It was a small leak and I every time it's in their shop it's 3-4 days. I missed enough work, decided to wait until I needed to service and fix it myself. I found a random 12mm bolt in one hole and my pan was damaged on the lip. No wonder it was leaking. At first we had a couple communication problems but in the end I was very pleased that I went with Autotech Services. Autotech Services is a mobile repair service, which was a big plus for me - I didn't have to leave home to get the work done. Willie arrived at my residence to do the work and here's where our communications proved to be out of synch -- he'd understood me to say I had the parts but that wasn't the case. No matter, this was resolved immediately by his going out of his way finding and getting the parts needed for the repair. Armed with the right parts, he completed the work expeditiously. He also discovered a problem with work done by a previous mechanic and resolved that issue. And he noted and fixed a problem with the battery tie-down that wasn't part of the work I'd hired him to do. Bottom line is I'm very happy with the repair -- the suspension noises I'd been hearing are gone, and it was cool that he took care of the other issues he found along the way. I'm very pleased that the rate he charged to do the repair was very reasonable. Parts plus labor were a little more than half of the quote I got from a chain repair place. Willie was friendly, polite, and pleasant, so a personality bonus on top of the other good stuff.
