Unfortunately, this turned out to be one of the most frustrating experiences I've ever had with a mechanic. PROS 1. Affordable prices: Definitely cheaper than a dealership. 2. Strong social media presence: They post videos of their work, which some people might like for transparency. 3. They seem knowledgeable: Based on their work online, they clearly know what they're doing. CONS 1. Terrible communication: I dropped my car off at 11 AM and didn't hear anything until I texted them at 5 PM. No updates, no calls, nothing. 2. Disrespect for your time: If I'd known they wouldn't even start on my car until the evening, I wouldn't have wasted my entire day without it. I live far away and had to arrange rides back and forth. 3. No clear process: After the inspection, I didn't get a proper report, just an Instagram DM listing what was wrong with my car. There was no real explanation or discussion. 4. Unprofessional behavior: When I finally went to pick up my car, the mechanic wasn't even there. I had to wait another hour, and a kid ended up handing me my keys. 5. Ended up costing more: I had to take my car to another mechanic because I couldn't trust them to handle it, so I wasted even more money. I feel so disappointed, not just because of the wasted time, but because I went in really wanting this to work out. There's nothing worse than feeling like your time and money don't matter to someone who's supposed to be providing a service. I read the reviews and noticed this has happened to others too, so it seems like a pattern. The mechanic knows what he's doing, and it's obvious he cares about building his image and growing his business. But they need to work on respecting people's time and communicating better. I personally won't be coming back, but I truly hope they improve, because they have the potential to be so much better.

I finally found a auto repair company that does business the way it should be done!…read moreHonest, fast, polite! They will now be our household's new place for auto repair and upkeep. Our Nissan rogue flashed a warning that there was no oil in the car and to pull over immediately. Which we did. We were confused because there didn't seem to be any oil leaks, and the oil plug looked like it was still in place. (my husband neglected to tell me he stopped checking the fluid levels monthly.) As our previous auto mechanic closed his shop, we hadn't had a chance to find a new one. So we looked on yelp and noticed clutch auto was only a few miles away although they seemed fairly new. They had only a couple reviews, but they were positive. So I decided to give them a try and called them and made an appointment for the same day and had the car towed to them. They did a full inspection and did not see anything wrong with the oil other than it needed it. They suggested an oil change however their inspection showed that there was some work that needed to be done on the suspension I requested photos however they had already taken them, which really impressed me seconds later they sent me a full report, including photos showing what needed to be repaired and why. By the end of the day, all the work was done. And I picked it up the next morning. I'm really impressed that they did NOT try to say other work needed to be done, as most other places would. Instead they were honest and explain that they would consider the suspension was in the yellow zone needing to be done soon, but could be put off a little bit if necessary. The cost for a full synthetic oil change was much less than five minute oil, However, I asked if they had a senior citizen discount they did not however they did have a 10% off first time customer discount, which brought the full job (oil change/suspension work) significantly in price.

I first discovered this shop when my wife was working at the school across the street from it. She…read moresaid that she had heard good things and, since we were new to the area, started going there for our service and repair needs. Like others have stated, Paul, Mike and the rest of the crew are PAINFULLY honest and forthright; they won't go into any repair unless they explain what needs to be done, in detail, and if the repairs are worth it compared to the value of the vehicle. An example of their honesty: I thought that the neutral safety switch on my 2001 Jeep Wrangler was bad so I bought the part and went to Paul's to have it installed. A few hours later Paul called and said the issue was fixed and that it was nothing more than a dirty connection, which was cleaned and solved the problem. He gave the part back to me to return for a refund when he could have kept it and charged me for installation. My wife has also take her car in a couple of time for minor repairs and they were done FOR NO CHARGE!!! Where else can you get this kind of treatment? Paul's shop is so honest, reliable and reasonable in their charges that I usually just drop off my vehicles and tell them to fix any issues that they discover, knowing full well that they will never jack me around. The only issue that I have is that they are not open on the weekend or holidays, in order to give the crew time off and family time, haha! But, that's the kind of family oriented business that I want to deal with. I cannot recommend this shop highly enough and you'll be extremely pleased if you go there!!

I started with them rebuilding my motor and just kept going from there. I did stop going here because of distance and I think if I was closer I would continue to take it to them for small jobs. To be fully transparent, I'm very specific about a lot of things when it comes to my vehicles so there were things that I noticed that weren't right, a couple things still exist to this day that were caused by the shop. However, every time I told Miguel about these issues he immediately did his best to help fix them. And they did fix most of the issues I had. This is not a bad shop at all. I definitely recommend them.
