I've used this tailor on four separate occasions. The hem is neat and the wait time is about ten…read moredays. It is run by an older couple. They have always been polite. On my last pickup, the price for a t-shirt hem changed. Previously it was $6 now $14. When I questioned the price difference, the woman told me the price depends on how wide you are... and laughed. I wear a size Medium. Needless to say, I will not be returning. I do recommend having a set price in writing when dropping off. She will change it if you don't.

They've always did what I asked at a decent price, which by the way, I always get a kick out of negotiating good-naturedly and half-jokingly with the Chinese lady who runs it. No, she doesn't speak perfect English (and can comr across a little gruff), but that just adds to the appeal for me. The interior is small, simple and very un-Stonecrest-like, but with the help of a little imagination, it is the probably the closest I will ever get to Shanghai.
