The restaurant is run down and needs a lot of work. The service was not great, had to wait about ten minutes before we were severed. I had the country fried steak with French fries. The steak was ok and the gravy tasted like it was out of a can. It did not have much flavor at all. The food seems to be frozen and out of bags. Would not go there again and there is a lot better restaurants in the area. read more

Not impressed. Roast beef came out cold and chewy...when it came time to pay they charged us for one of the sides!! Ridiculous...that is not how you operate a business in a tourist area!! Especially in the off season. And then there were the flies, one half dead on the table and when we pointed it out to waitress she graciously attempted to shoo it away which just caused it to die on the table. There were others trying to get to the food... We then called Denovos to order good food. At least they don't make themselves look busy by having all 10 employees park in the customer parking lot. We were so excited about a new restaurant in the Pines as we live here year round!! WILL NOT BE BACK AND will tell everyone about our experience!! We will stick with Denovos, Whiskers, Taylor's, Plaza Tapatia...all tried and true spots. Even McDonald's would have been more enjoyable!! Apparently you can't give less than 1 star on here!! read more

Got the seafood combo for the price it was great. This is a good place to go if your tired of the busyness of OC and want a quieter atmosphere read more

Had late lunch. The food is pretty good. They would make a lot more money if they cut the portions by half. Wayyyy too much food. Service was so so considering how slow it was the day we were in. Hot roast beef was good. read more

Excellent breakfast spot. Service was immediate and courteous. Food came within 2-3 minutes of ordering and was delicious. Serving size was generous (eggs were extra large and toast was not straight out of a store bought bag.). Coffee was good too. read more

This place is nothing fancy, but if that's what you are looking for, stop on in. My husband had an appetizer of onion rings and then chicken fried steak and I had the pasta combo. Everything was good, the service was fast and the portions are huge. Definitely will be back here. read more

Abi's Diner - Diners Near Me - Berlin, Maryland

There is clearly a gap in communication between the cooks and the waitresses. 4 of our meals were wrong. Not acceptable. I had to send back my pancakes because they were supposed to be banana pancakes, but the were chocolate chip. I had to wait 20 minutes for new pancakes. read more

Excellent cozy spot. Great food at a great price, the seafood omelets are fantastic. Really homey feel, amazing service! We loved it.

my wife and I had a late lunch today. she had the Shepards pie. it was the strangest thing we have seen in a long time. a pile of meat on top of lumpy potatoes and covered with burnt cheese. when she got home her indigestion was terrible. I had the turkey with stuffing platter. plenty of good oven roasted turkey but it ended there. The gravey was the worst canned gravey ever. and why would you serve such terrible stuffing( when from A box) you can get stove top stuffing? read more

Great breakfast, reasonably priced. Staff very friendly. Service polite and quick. Only critic is the noise. If I may make a suggestion. Find a local artist and have them paint some diner and or Beach scenes pictures to hang for sale. Would greatly help the noise level. read more

Good food, quick service with a friendly staff and reasonable prices. My greek salad was excellent! My husband had one of the daily specials, turkey platter, which was a large portion by itself but it also came with 2 sides. We will be back. read more

The seafood paradise never disappoints!! Easily can feed two people. The quantity and quality of the food is amazing. Always a favorite when we come to Maryland read more

The service here was absolutely horrendous! We arrive to see many tables covered in dirty dishes and no attempt to clear off to sit the incoming line of people. After finally sitting ( it took 10 minutes) we were approached by our server Erin who came off as rushed and unhappy. She asked for our drink orders and because we had waited we had wanted to order food then. She quickly wrote down our orders and rushed off to two other tables who had just sat. We waited approximately half an hour and she never had approached us except to give us drinks. We watched as tables around us who had ordered after us get their food and we waited 10 more minutes before deciding to go and pay for our drinks and leave. When the woman we spoke to approached our server she came out screaming at the top of her lungs about how she could not control when the food came out. Then she walked into the kitchen and was using unkind language to the chefs and owner. When we asked to speak to the owner, the lady went back and the owner didn't care to speak to us for he was busy cooking all the food. So we left because we were treated so badly. Spend your hard earned money somewhere else. read more

Fantastic dinner! Waitress was great. I've worked in many restaurants and am very impressed with Abi's.

Delicious breakfast. Friendly service. Clean atmosphere. Very reasonable prices with generous portions. read more

Abi's Diner - This is the sausage egg and cheese sandwich for under 5 dollars. - Diners Near Me - Berlin, Maryland

Went there for breakfast and dinner. Local place. Plenty of parking, very clean, friendly greeting, coloring books for kids, quick and professional service. Food was excellent. Waitress was busy but you would never known it. Took great care of us with a smile. Plenty to choose from on menu. Excellent value. BEST food and service we had on our vacation. Will diffently go there again. DIFFENTLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE read more

First time at Abi's in July 2016. A typical diner style eatery with good food and friendly service. Portions are huge and prices are very easy on the budget. Total for four of us for dinner was just over $40.00 without dessert because no one had room for anything else. If your looking for good tasting food and plenty of it without busting the budget this is the place. They don't serve alcohol and if you're physically challenged park in the rear. read more

Service was terrible. Waited 20 min for the drink order then left because no one came to take the order. The environment was obnoxiously loud and pretty much a bad experience all around. I'd rather of ate at a waffle house. At least the service would of been better. read more

We could not have been more pleased with our dining experience at Abi's Diner. The food, the portion size, and the price were fantastic... especially for being in a resort area. In fact, on our recent visit to Ocean City, Maryland we dined at Abi's three out of the seven days that we had been there. I really enjoyed the buffalo chicken salad, and my daughter is certainly a fan of the patty melt. My husband and mom were equally pleased with their menu choices and were not at all disappointed. So if you're looking for a restaurant with great customer service, fantastic food, a menu selection to meet the taste buds of everyone in your party, and would like to avoid the congestion of a lot of the touristy spots...I would certainly suggest adding Abi's Diner to your list of places to try. read more

I went here because I couldn't find another breakfast place. Not a good experience i would stay clear of this place as the pancakes werent cooked all the way through (pancakes are the easiest thing to make!!!) and the silverware was dirty. Servers were good read more

Small place from the outside that packs a punch. The prime rib was delicious and tender served with a baked potato and 2 sides. The Flounder was scrumptious and large enough for two people. The coleslaw was just like we liked it more sweet than sour. The garlic Texas toast was served with a ginormous salad that included egg cucumber croutons tomatoes lettuce and onions, all of it yummy. We were referred by a friend in Ocean City and went there twice, once for breakfast and once for lunch. The food was wonderful as was the service. Thanks Abby diner for great meals. read more

Best breakfast outside of Ocean City. We frequently stop here and the prices are dirt cheap, though the wait can get long on busy weekends. The western omelette is always a good choice. read more

The only reason I'm giving one star was because the food was decent but the service was horrible. The place was empty there we're only two other tables besides ours and our waitress never brought out the side dishes and when she finally came back to the table she said they were out of them. Our drinks were never refilled we never saw her again to even ask for more. my mom asked for extra napkins and it took 30 min for us to get 2 extra napkins (they were prob out of them as well) then there was a man sitting a few seats away from us as soon as he got his food him and one of the other waitresses started arguing (so bad we were looking for different exits out of there Incase it got worse) it was a complete mess. I could get over the appearance (the opened electrical box they sat us next to I'm sure is not up to code) but the service and attitudes of everyone in there, the fact that they were pretty much out of everything (told another man they were out of multiple things as he was trying to place a order to go) they should just close the doors now or get a entirely new staff! read more

Have been there twice, breakfast and lunch, both times food, service and prices were good. I would have enjoyed my meals more if the diner hadn't of been so loud, everything echos, plus the sound on the tv was up. Maybe some floor plants and pictures on the walls might help. Might go back. read more

Three of us went for breakfast on a Saturday morning. I doubt that I have ever been to a more disorganized restaurant. Upon arrival, waitresses were seating customers. If they were busy, the line backed up and you didn't get seated. After finally being seated, we were ignored; no waitress, no menus, no coffee. We watched other customers come in after us, get menus, order, and receive their food before we even received a menu. It was 45 minutes before we received our food. We never saw the waitress again. I had to ask one of the other waitresses to find her so we could get the check. The waitress then took me to the counter to pay. I was paying in cash, and she pulled money out of her apron to make change. That seemed odd. She couldn't make change for me, so the other two people in my party had to get their cash together so it would be closer to the exact amount. The food was good and the prices were fair, but I really doubt we will be back. read more

Food was plentiful. I would say yhe food was a little above average. We have been thrre several times and service depends on the server you get. Some are very attentive and some not so much. We go early Sunday mornings so they are not very busy. read more

We were heading home from OC and every restaurant was packed, so we drove out a bit and found this place. So glad we did! Clean and friendly, and a great breakfast spot. It was very busy so it was understandable that the waitress wasn't that attentive and forgot our toast. The portions were huge, so we didn't miss the toast. The Southern Eggs Benedict was great, as was the crab omelette and the kids pancakes. This will definitely be a stop for us on our OC trip next year. read more

This was my first time eating at this diner. I had breakfast around 10 AM. My first impression coming in the door was that the interior doesn't have much in the way of character. The place was obviously put together on a budget. On the plus side, the staff were friendly and courteous. I started out with a cup of coffee -- decaf. When the cup arrived I could smell right away that it wasn't fresh and it tasted worse. I asked the waitress to bring me a cup from a fresh pot. She was nice enough, said she was sorry, but didn't see how the coffee could be old as the pot had just been made. Yeah right ... The next cup, which took awhile to arrive, was much better but still had a faint taste of burned coffee. I am guessing that the pot had had burnt coffee in it and was not washed before it was reused for another batch of decaf. I went on to order a ham and cheese omelet. The portions were generous. The omelet was flat and spread out over half the plate and the potatoes took up the other half with an english muffin squeezed in. The omelet had been overcooked and was dry. The potatoes were just OK. As time went on and more people started coming in the place just kept getting noisier and noisier. With bare walls, a hard floor and ceiling, and one partition that I could see, there was nothing to absorb the sound. I was pretty happy to get out of there. At least I didn't have to pay much for the experience. I like eating at diners, but this one won't be on my list. read more

Big portions fast service food really good. Very surprised ***** everyone should give it a try!

Everything is so good. It is diner food, but really good diner foods. The pastas are of an expensive restaurant. What I love best is the French fries extra crispy. The specials are reasonably prices and always seem to be the best that is offered. The portions are huge. Ask for extra napkins. The staff is casual. "good people" There is parking. It is easy to miss from the main road. The casino is down the road, but come to this diner even if your destination is the casino. The benches seem a bit worn, but clean. read more
