I will never come here again. Why? BED BUGS‼ We came here to wash clothes. While I was waiting my husband and I had our 5 month old daughter on blanket on the ground doing tummy time and playing with toys. While my husband was changing clothes over I being an attentive mother seen a bed bug come crawling across the floor headed straight towards my 5 month old. I grabbed her and her blanket and her toys as fast as I could off the ground. I took some photos and videos and squashed the sucker. Not to mention the washers smell musty when you open them but that I could look past the bed bugs is a big no go for me though. Hopefully we don't end up taking any home with us. photos and videos for proof. read more

This place has always been my laundry mat. There has been so many washers out of service and taking away your coins that's its unbelievable! This is totally ridiculous! This has been happening from last year and now it has grew far worse. The timing online are incorrect! What is going on here? This is so sad! read more

The large washer to the far right is leaking water everywhere. I tried calling but the number listed on yelp is wrong. Might want to get it checked out soon! Btw, love coming to this laundromat, it's always clean and quiet. Just hoping someone sees this review so nobody slips. read more

This laundromat SUCKED!!!! I used $10 in quarters; the clothes washed in HOT water no matter what my selection was, and dryers were AWFUL! Changed dryers 5 times, and nothing worked! Never again will I darken their doors!!! read more

If I could give this business 0 stars I would. Washers only wash on 1 temp....super super hot even if you select cold, etc. Dryers do not dry AT ALL. I wasted 1 hour and 10 dollars assuming my clothes were drying. When the dryers stopped the clothes were just as wet as when they were put in. Do not waste time, money, or energy at this laundromat! Will NEVER go back! read more

It's a laundromat, not really much you can say about these places is there? Always some machines out of order but always some available to use. Best advice: bring your own quarters. Change machines are virtually always out. Not sure if they are broken or just out of coins, either way it isn't going to help you! read more

Laundromat near public library and two bookstores. Near Little Italy restaurant within Frenchman's Creek Shopping Center. Shogun Japanese restaurant is just north past Coco Palms tanning salon. This laundromat has Dexter dryers and large washers and Speed Queen dryers. $1 to wash and 8 minutes per quarter. Bring soap for the restroom. Dryer sheets all over the floor. Clientele tend to use eight dryers and assume ownership of carts. But they do not steal stuff. read more

I guess I should stop by the bank and pick up a roll of quarters before I come here. Both change machines do not work. How can an establishment that runs on quarters not have a working change machine or even be out of change? Also on a side note, this place is dirty and trash everywhere. read more

Gave it one star because I couldn't give it zero! I guess the owners have given up on this place. With the fear of bedbugs, I made other arrangements to wash my clothing. This is the first time I've been back, and although it was never the cleanest, it has gone WAY downhill. The only good thing I could say about it is the change machines at least had quarters. The machines were filthy, inside & out. Many were out of order, but you didn't know it until you put your clothes & money in. Dryer sheets all over the floor made it extremely dangerous to move around, and the few carts available barely rolled. I came home feeling nasty and suspecting that my clothes weren't even clean. I saw a man fill 2washers with greasy oilfield clothes, which will ruin the next loads behind it. This dump needs to be manned and monitored. Someone is going home with bedbugs, and I hope it wasn't me! read more

As if having to do laundry wasn't already a chore! This place has 2 change machines that do not work. If I had not already put the soap in my wash, i would have continued on to a different laundromat. Next time I'll definitely read the reviews first. The dryers cost $1.00 for 15 minutes. They also have larger dryers for $3.00, but there is a warning that they can get very hot and may damage delicate clothes, so that is something to keep in mind. As soon as I walked in, she told me I only had three minutes to start my washer. I made it in time and started my load before the cutoff. Later, I noticed a different washing machine leaking water all over the floor. I politely let her know because I was concerned someone could slip and get hurt. Instead of thanking me, she immediately blamed me, saying the leak was caused by clothes caught in the door. I explained that it wasn't my machine--I was simply informing her about the leak. I understand the laundromat closes at 8:00 p.m., and I was doing my best to finish before closing. About 10 minutes before closing, I removed my clothes from the dryer and was folding them when she turned off the lights in the folding area. She then told me I had only three minutes to leave, even though I was still folding my clean laundry. At 8:00 p.m., she turned off all the lights and repeatedly told me I needed to leave. I fully respect business hours and understand employees need to close on time. However, customers should still be treated with courtesy and respect. Throughout my visit, I felt rushed, unfairly blamed for something that wasn't my fault, and treated in an unprofessional manner. I hope management reviews this employee's behavior and reminds staff that good customer service is just as important as enforcing closing time.

My sewage line wasn't draining properly so I got bid from them. They used a camera (sophisticated) to explore the sewage line, which was about 60 ft from the fence line/alley. Guy said that it was old clay pipe that needed to be replaced for $7000. And they would have to replace it all the way to the city main, which would make Abilene the only city that allows anyone to work on their city mains. So just to check on what the city had which I figured was upgraded to pvc (it was) I dug down to the sewer line at the edge of the property. So I started digging down to the sewer line a couple of other places just to verify what the plumber claimed. It ended up only being clay about 10 ft on my property from the city's line. So if the guy had been honest and not tried to grossly exaggerated or pad the estimate he would have said replace the 10 feet of clay because he couldn't have missed it with the camera that he ran from the trap next to my house down toward the fence line. This is probably a common way that unscrupulous plumbers line their pockets. It took a day to dig up that 10 ft of clay and replace w pvc. Cost $89 for supplies. What a profit margin. The sad thing or maybe part of the scam was the fish (Christian) symbol on his truck.

I had a carpenter ant problem, and the first tech was great although he showed up pretty early. He was a very friendly and professional former member of the military. He seemed knowledgeable and told me to give the chemicals time to work but to call back if I still had ants. The price I was charged was somewhat higher than I was quoted but I was told they guarantee their work and would come back as many times as it took to take care of the problem. A few weeks go by and I call to let them know I still have the ants- they never left although I did find some dead ones for a few days. I was to,d they would come back to treat again. They called to cancel the initial appointment as my tech had a death in the family. I expressed sympathy and told them no problem. I rescheduled and then they called on the new day to change the time. I agreed to work with them and they sent a different tech out. He was courteous and went quickly about his work. Told me to give things time to take effect but let them know if I still have ants. A few weeks go by and I call to report that the ants are still not gone. I was told I would be charged again in full because my "warranty" had run out. I tried to explain that they never got rid of the ants but was told there was no way around having to pay another couple hundred bucks. My understanding of warranties is that you buy something and the warranty guarantees it for a set amount of time. I was under the impression that they would get rid of the ants and guarantee me they would stay gone for 3 months or whatever. I didn't get what I paid for to begin with so not comprehending why my warranty would be out. I'm thankful Lawrence Hall didn't declare the warranty on my truck expired before I got the truck! Two stars because they were courteous but I didn't get what I paid for and will now need to find a pest control company that can actually get rid of carpenter ants.
