I have a metal roof and gutters with gutter guards. They company that used to do an excellent job on my roof (I'll call them "JB") is a janitorial firm that appears to no longer do roofs. I called AA based on reviews and explained that my roof was quite dirty with pollen and was clear with them it was metal. They said they would come and blow the roof off and see what else could be done. They did NOT come right out and say they could not clean up pollen. They quoted me a price lower than the previous company had been charging, so I scheduled the work about three weeks out. The tech came out late in the afternoon, spent a LOT of time looking around and talking to the office and then told me that they could only blow debris off. To do a wash would take two people a full day and cost around $2,000. Sorry, that's NOT going to happen! I said go ahead and blow the roof off, there was plenty of Douglas fir cones and other debris that needed to come off anyway. The work was fine for what it was, though there's still a mess of pollen up there. I would have preferred that they just say "we don't clean metal roofs because you won't be happy with the results."

I booked a job and was quoted a price with an appointment scheduled. Before that date arrived, I got a call saying they needed to reschedule because there "wasn't enough time" to complete all the work I wanted done. That didn't make sense to me since my job was quite small -- and sure enough, it turned out they had me mixed up with a different customer entirely. I was pushed back to a much later date regardless. On the day of that second appointment, they contacted me shortly before the scheduled window to say the technician couldn't make it. We rescheduled a third time. This time, no call, no text, nothing -- they simply never showed up. I heard nothing for two full days. When the scheduler finally reached out, she explained that the technician had "run into issues that impacted his schedule" and claimed he'd tried calling and texting me -- except the phone number she gave me wasn't mine. The kicker? She herself had been texting me that entire time on my actual, correct number. So either the technician was given the wrong information, or the excuse just didn't hold up. Either way, nobody offered an apology or any real accountability. Three scheduled appointments, two no-shows, a mix-up with another customer, and an excuse that fell apart under basic scrutiny -- all before a single window was touched. I can't speak to Evergreen's actual work quality because I never got the chance to see it. But if reliability, communication, and basic follow-through matter to you, I'd steer clear.
